When I made the first Samus, I wasn't too happy with how she looked. The paint changed color slightly when it was drying so I had trouble matching Samus' skin tone. I absolutely suck at mixing colors to make any skin tone so the color would either come out too pale or too dark. Another issue was I accidentally messed up the clear stand that holds up her leg. I tried to fix it but it didn't look too good... The gold paint on her Amiibo stand was also messed up when I got her so I tried to fix that by painting the whole stand. The paint job on that is so-so; maybe pink and black weren't the best colors for an Amiibo stand.

For the second Samus I made neater looking ruffles, fixed her skin tone, shaded in her hair with brown paints, and left the stand + based the way it is.

TL: DR -> I didn't like how the first Samus came out so I made a new one. Kitty Samus was too cute to give up on. Older Samus Design - Repainted skin tone does not match original Amiibo’s skin tone - Head was removed and then repositioned. Her head was raised so she was looking upward. - Stand is messed up - Amiibo stand was repainted because it was messed up too

Newer Samus Design - Repainted skin tone similar too original Amiibo’s skin tone - Made ruffles on bikini look better - Stand and Amiibo base were left alone

Mimikyu Custom Amiibo (with Poseable Head)

Mimikyu, more like Mimi-cute! I sculpted this Mimikyu from scratch but used an Amiibo plate from a Pikachu Amiibo so it can be used like a regular Amiibo. Mimikyu has a ball joint in it's neck so it can move it's head around! (I purposely didn't put the tail on this Mimikyu)

So, I got a new camera lens and DAMN look at that difference! I can't believe how bad the older photo looks =0=

Originally I didn't like how my Retsuko pics came out so I did some research about taking photos of figures. After my own research and asking friends for photography advice, I decided to get a new camera lens. I normally don't like making pricey investments but I'm happy I did this one. I hope future photos will look better!

Samus Kitty Bikini Custom Amiibo

- This is actually my second Kitty Bikini Samus. I didn’t like how the first one came out so I got another Samus and remade it. I’ll post side-by-side photos of both customs eventually. - Her hair was shaded in using brown paint. The blonde parts remain unaltered. - Tiny ruffles are a REAL PAIN to sculpt

Opening Commissions in March/April

Commissions for customized MLP toys, Amiibos, and everything else will be open in late March/April. I will only be taking a few commissions during that time, maybe 2 or 3 customs. Pauline Amiibo

My first non-customized Amiibo! I sculpted Pauline on my own and used a Peach Amiibo (Super Mario Bros) stand. I don't normally do full sculpture in this size so she's not my best work. I hope I can improve. This design is based on varies official Nintendo art. Her outfit is based on her more recent appearances while his pose is based on much older Nintendo art. Her Amiibo stand is meant to look like the construction beams from the 'Donkey Kong' (1981) levels. Photographing this Amiibo was also a challenge. The pose she is in made it hard to find angles that didn't make her look weird. The main thing I don't like about this photo is I didn't capture her expression correctly. It looks so bland here.

Fixed up Bee Ness Photo

I redid one of my custom Amiibo photos (top = older image, bottom = newer). It didn’t look right to me when I posted it but I didn't know what was wrong ‘til today.

I had to adjust the contrast, brightness, and color balance of the photo. The image lacked contrast between the Amiibo and the background. Also, the image was rather dark so I increased the brightness. But now I worry the image is too bright :<

My hand slipped and I ordered 2 Zero Suit Samus Amiibos and 2 Isabelle Amiibos for customizing. What is wrong with me. I've started on so many things and finished none of them so far XD I'm still working on a Mimikyu, Dark Ryu, Armour Mewtwo, and Undertale Amiibos. I also have a custom Funko Mei in the works. I know as soon as these new Amiibos come in the mail, I'm gonna start on them too.

Miraculous Ladybug Custom Funko

My first custom Funko Pop Vinyl, Miraculous Ladybug! She is my new obsession. I loved her the moment they announced the show and the promos started coming out (months before it even aired!). I can’t wait for the web episodes and season 2 ♥ ♥ ♥
