According to Reuters, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirm stated Friday that “military action has been taken without chain of command” and that there has been “an attempted military intervention” in Ankara, the Turkish capital. Tensions between President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the military have been rising recently. This is a developing story.
