one of my favourite things about ash lynx is that he was so unrelentingly kind, even though the world had been so cruel to him. he could’ve easily become another blanca or another arthur, could’ve exacted revenge on everyone who did him wrong (and there were many such people) and he just. didn’t. he was sweet to michael, kind to eiji since they first met, even though he didn’t know him. he even saved his own father, who did nothing to protect ash from the abuse he was experiencing. like he’s just so invariably and undoubtedly GOOD it hurts my soul.

I love the concept of a Cecil with an undetermined appearance. You can look at him, and obviously that's him standing there. Everyone knows Cecil. But it's hard to really... see him. You kinda gotta squint for him to be in focus. Hes not really tall, but he's also not short. Not discernibly thin nor fat. What color is his hair? Well, it's hard to tell with anyone, really. Light brown to one person is dark blonde to another. The shape of his nose? Well, most people don't pay attention enough to remember details like that. How old is he? It's rude to ask people's ages. Does he have two eyes? Three? Four? Well, he's got the normal amount of eyes for Cecil, and they're a normal color too, you're sure. You ask that scientist Carlos what his husband, the radio host, looks like and he says "He looks like Cecil? Obviously." Which is fair, of course. It's odd you felt the need to ask. Everyone knows Cecil. You've seen him before. Right?
