GENERAL ROLEPLAY ETIQUETTE IS EXPECTED. I do not interact, entertain or associate myself with anyone who participates inĀ ANYĀ form of bigotry. at this point, we should all know what that means. ( ableism, racism, ignorance towards the lgbtqia + / marginalized groups, black and poc , etc. ) or complete nonsense ( excessive vaguing , duplicate hate, muse collecting, etc . ) please, don't be gross. to keep it simple : do not bring any nonsense to my blog, I very often remove myself from uncomfortable situations and soft/block liberally.
I am duplicate friendly, sometimes I am picky when it comes to certain muses but at this time, there is none to list ! all I ask is we be respectful towards one another and enjoy this hobby !
WRITING AND INTERACTION. turning any ask prompts I answer into threads is honestly the fastest and easiest way to interact / write with me. so if you ever see an ask prompt on my blog, send it in ! I also prefer to have in depth plotting & world building with my writing partners. I've found it's the best way to get to writing. I rarely post starter calls, but I do when I have muse for it. I write my muse and you write yours. please talk to me before writing drastic content. I format replies with icons, character headers and a mixture of regular and small font. if you need anything changed for visibility reasons, I will rectify it immediately all I ask is that you don't use incredibly small icons, massive spaces, super small font or excessive font changes. no photoshop replies. I only use beta editor.
FOLLOWING / UNFOLLOWING. since this is a low activity blog, if there is no attempt at interaction in any form I will softblock. I'm not interested in follow 4 follow, and while I understand things can get busy, I think there's a difference between that and no attempt at all. this is a collaborative hobby and I focus my attention with those who share a concerted effort to interact ( engage with headcanon posts, send prompts, speak ooc ) this does not & will never blur with real life duties, but time spent engaging as writing partners in this hobby.
I take up to a week from the moment you follow me, to check blogs. I do not instantly follow back ( unless we are friends or I am familiar with your blog ) please allow me that time, as I am not always here.
I am chronically ill which has left me physically disabled & easily fatigued because of it, this blog is sporadic with activity often fluctuating between low & medium but my being here ( or not ) does not equate to my interest in our plots / interest to write with you. please do not conflate the two. I'm here to have fun and write when the muse strikes. if you require constant activity, instant replies / asks this isn't the blog for you. my activity doesn't reflect my interest to be here or interest in mutuals, plots, or writing. if I am interacting with a problematic individual, please let me know.
Assuming this is from a foreigner, there's many charities and NGOs working to improve conditions. Unfortunately, I need to note I'm not incredibly familiar with them because most of them operate very far away from my location, so I'm not the best source to verify individual charities. SEEDS India works on disaster relief and management, including extreme weather conditions. I hear ActionAid India and the Mahila Housing Trust are good too. There's Project Tapan by Raise India, but I think it only allows donations from within India. You can also donate to fund many people's medical bills through GiveIndia. Please bring awareness to the issue in your own countries, and remember that the Global North is responsible for 92% of the world's excess carbon emissions, yet the Global South faces the subsequent devastation each and every time. Remember Western overconsumption directly contributes to our suffering. Remember how privileged you are to even have air conditioning. Don't forget about us.
(I wish there was a way for foreigners to donate to the upkeep of unions since workers are by far the ones affected the most by this heatwave, but I believe almost all of them are only allowed to accept domestic donations.)
If any other South Asians know of reputable NGOs/organizations, especially ones operating in Pakistan and Bangladesh (as the ones linked here and in reblogs are primarily based in India) please link them. If you're South Asian, you can send another ask for advice.
I cannot believe that this is the first I am hearing of this. I am devastated to hear of the thousands of people dying and hurt because of this heat wave.

it depends, I have dedicated playlists and then I have instrumentals only from movies like minari, movie soundtracks etc. sometimes those lyrical songs hit hard, but sometimes they're very distracting.

not everything is personal, it hardly ever is. don't stay on this website too long, queue is your best friend, mental health is important so take care of yourself first. communication is important when it comes to understanding , but so are boundaries. you don't need a million people to write with, a handful is just as good. single-blog or multimuse, BOTH ARE GOOD. there will be not nice people who don't have good intentions and there will be amazing friends who could be lifelong, learn how to spot the difference. snarky sarcasm isn't really cute but being authentic about who you are and what you want out of your blog is never going out of style. jesus christ be kind. block / softblock at your leisure, and do the same for things / blogs you don't like. curate your space. if you don't know something about what you're writing, do research. if you mess up, especially if someone is telling you something you wrote / fc choice is incorrect or insensitive , listen, apologize don't dig your heels in. remember there's people with lives behind the screen ( see : don't stay on this site too much bc that's how overthinking starts ) , if you leave, you can always come back and those who matter will be here when you return. read people's rules, don't take from people's blogs, have fun. it's important to have fun.
