interaction / writing: the easiest way to write with me is to continue memes I answered and turning them into threads. or alternatively, I will reblog anything you answer as a thread if muse strikes. . feel free spam me with memes / prompts. I tend to write a lot or I stick to one liners depending on muse which, don't feel obliged to match.
formatting: the icon template used on this blog is from calisources by commission., and also vanguardcomms by commission. I use small / regular font with minor spacing depending on my writing partner's formatting. I write in third person often but i am experimenting with first person and will write it with anyone interested.

I'm not interested in writing with marius blogs at the moment. it's important to acknowledge marius, as he is an important figure in what made armand the vampire, as well as lestat's story, too, and also impossible to tell armand's story without discussing him. anything past that ( idolization of this character / apologizing for and excusing ) is weird, I really don't have an issue as long as no one's downplaying the abuse armand endured from marius or the like.
I'm a csa survivor, I don't care to see this in my direct vicinity and I don't care if you choose to talk and engage with it. It's triggering to me I will curate my dash, don't take it personally.
portrayal note: as per amc's iwtv ( 2024 ) armand is aged 27 years old upon his turning. he is an adaptation of the show & the vampire chronicles, think of it as show adaptation with personal flavor. please read through all information provided in carrd. however, I lean a lot of my portrayal through book items by my own discretion & headcanons. with that being said, this is a blog heavily headcanon aligned & based, please keep in mind of such divergencies in the section provided in carrd.
please be aware. that armand is a victim of csa, grooming and SA / trafficking this content / his traumatic experiences ( the act of ) will never be actively written on this blog, there may be instances where he recalls his past trauma as he harbors centuries of this abuse and trauma with him. it affects how he reacts to the world around him. exploring parts of what shapes him into who he is , how he struggles in his failings of individualism, growth, arrested development and a plethora of feelings. this will be explored & discussed in study posts.
armand is an imperfect victim in his trauma. he is both a victim in his own story, and antagonist towards others. trauma is messy, and when talking about his ( especially his ) a lot of things can happen, including the victim turning into a sharp thing and in this case, armand is not solely a victimized character, but also has been the antagonist and has caused pain onto others. and so i just want to trace back and not excuse his behavior but explain why he is, the way he is. a trauma survivor who cannot relent control, which makes him extra dangerous as an ancient vampire.
content: considering the nature of the character, the content and genre of interview with the vampire / the vampire chronicles, there will be a plethora of mature themes present including but not restricted to: blood, gore, violence, religious trauma, body mutilation, blood consumption, addiction, death heavy plots, death idolization, unhealthy obsessions, romanticization of unhealthy dynamics / relationships, religion, problematic behavior, CPTSD, depression, existential thoughts on life and death, manipulation & murder. triggers will be tagged with : word / . please don't hesitate to ask me to tag anything, but be aware of what you're following.

mains : I tend to focus / prioritise answering asks, and writing, rather than writing partners I am not mains with. I accept 2-3 of a specific muse.
affiliates : is reserved for characters weaved into the narrative of armand's story I've developed thus far. I often focus attention to these interactions primarily / prioritize asks, threads etc. there's a lot more plotting involved, & world building. I prefer that we speak ooc from time to time and plot. this is more of a focused connection as opposed to blogs i am not affiliated with. I tend to accept 1-2 of a character but if I'm completely honest, I try to not seek out duplicates of a muse ( this is not mutual just something I prefer. ) outside of iwtv canon I will likely not seek out duplicates but within canon is a different thing entirely.
