I hesitated in sharing this the other day with the craziness of Tumblr. But now that things are back to normal. Here we are.

Did a little digital painting with Chrome and Poppy. Using mainly some oil brushes i had in clip studio. Like the results i ended up with.

the frightened onlookers were meant to be a big focus, but i had to simplify them in the end because it was honestly a bit too much for my brain 🥲

i put more focus into scale and perspective this time — hopefully that still shines through!

Chapter 9: Verso

The long awaited moment is finally here ! Gustave and Verso finally meet in person. What will happen now ? How are they going to react ? This chapter is the biggest to date, I hope you'll like it !

Aaaaaand you have it ! After more than 100 pages (god) they're finally able to talk to each other ! Sorry for the slow burn up until this point, I hope it was worth it !

The story will obviously continue, but I'm gonna take a break : first because this chapter drained me I'm not gonna lie xD (need to do something else a bit, like sleep) and also because I need a little bit of time to properly write the following chapters ! I have ideas, but I must organize them into a cool story that holds together. I hope you will like it.

I'd say that depends on the human and mer combo. Lots of fun reactions! I can think of three outcomes:

2. The confused

I am so, so sorry. This might be even more out of character than usual… Bennett is such a cautious borrower. There's no way he'd be so careless with his supplies, or rush out on a reckless borrowing mission, or neglect to check his surroundings. I'm sure he would have memorized the entire floor plan the moment he moved in, so he'd never just get lost like this.

But… but… I ju-just… I HAD TO DRAW IT…!! (*heavy breathing*) A tiny person walking all over a sleeping giant, getting tossed around by every little movement they make…!! I know it's a total cliché, but it's just… so… my thing…!! Please forgive me…!!

SCREAMS INTO A PILLOW

I have had this stupid thing in my wips since PRE Valentine's Day and I have finally finished.

Getting better with clothing and folds, but frankly it only makes sense 20% of the time 🙃 Also enjoy me dressing Aedes in progressively sluttier more breathable outfits everytime I post him.
