She shook head from that almost close encounter. Â Jessica walked over to her side of the table.

"You're being drunk and weird," he said with a chuckle, leaning his head back a little. What a tease.

After a quiet moment Jessica glanced at Peter, âYou are handsome too.â
"Handsome?" he asked, humming from the back of his throat. "Well, I mean, I shouldn't act too surprised. I said it before you did."

 "Wow, tracers?  The ones at S.H.I.E.L.D. can be such shit sometimes.  I think the coolest gadget I have is this alien detector watch," she showed him her wrist to see the blinking light, "And I didnât even make this."
"Well, it's more for tracking baddies, y'know? Just stick one on their sorry tuchas and they're connected to a cell tower at Parker Industries."
"Pretty cool, huh?" He then examined the watch on her wrist and raised a brow. "I think that's the reason I'm not a full-time Avenger."

 His smile was contagious, even when heâs been through this he still smiles, âWicked smart, yes you are.  To make your little shooters,â she motioned her hands like him, âby yourself.  That is quiet a brain you got.â
"And that's me not even trying," he boasted.
"You really wanna see my brainpower, you should check out my spider-tracers."

 "No you cannot!" her voice was excited to hear him say that.
"If you actually play the accordion I will kick myself for not asking you out sooner."
"I swear!" he insisted, just as excited. He gave her a playful slap on the shoulder.
"I was bored for a few weeks last summer, and I just.. picked it up!"

 "Oh.." her voice became saddened.  She knew that situation all to well, "Um I know a little about not being myself."
"More like being replaced by something that is worse than you could imagine. Â Later on you suffer big time. Â Iâm sorry that happened to you."
He sort of nudged her, his tiny smile returning to his face. He was really good at turning a mood.
"It's okay. I'm trying to see this as a new door opened, y'know? I'm in my prime. I'm handsome. And I'm wicked smart. I can do better than a night club owner."

 "Movie? Umm maybe you can pick it cause Iâm not very good at the whole keeping-up-to-date-with-cinema thing."
"As for food, Iâve been craving Italian food. Â So I wanna go to a mama and papa place with them playing that weird stretchy instrument. Â Itâs awesome," Jessica felt a little embarrassed in describing it. Â Â
"An accordion?"
She couldn't be as embarrassed as he was about to be: "I can play accordion, y'know."

 "OhâŚwell I guess I should change the subject on that note.  I mean unless you wanna talk about it?" Jessica stumbled.  She was always bad at making things not awkward.
"Nah, it's okay," he assured with a small smile. "Uh, so-- I'm not sure if I ever told you about MJ, but... Well, okay. Let's just say that I wasn't myself for a few months and I said some things I shouldn't have said to her. Did some things I would never have done if I'd been... me, y'know?"
"And ah... Yeah."
