“I’ll break in my back and open the front door, okay?” Erin said softly.
So. He was following her. Unusual. Reminding herself things didn’t add up, she gently guided him towards the front door, edging towards a rocking chair slowly.
“You can sit if it’s easier. You’ll be out of the sun while I get in to open the door. And the animals will keep you company. Do you like dogs?”
