#I CANT BREATHE #SIMBAR IS F*CKING REAL
what have you done to me?
I'm not in love with Simón Álvarez. No way. Why would I be that? This is just a plan.
But why do I feel something everytime he looks at me? Everytime he smiles his goofy smile? Everytime he pulls his funny silly jokes?
Why would I be in love with a guy who dresses like that? His cheesy beanies and everything? But everytime I talk to him I can be myself. I can talk about my godmother, my parents. And it seems that he actually cares about what I say; he listens and encourages me. When I feel sad he always gets me in a better mood. He makes me laugh, smile - something I have not done in a long time.
But I'm not in love with him... This is just a plan, that's all. I have become more popular, and that's all I want. The plan succeeded.
I, Ámbar Smith, is not in love with Simón Álvarez.

thank you.
"You okay? You seem a little off today." Simón asked when he saw Ámbar's sad expression. His eyes were kind, as if he actually was worried and wanted to help. But why would he want to do that?
"I'm fine..." She couldn't do this; she is Ámbar Smith, after all. She never cries. Her godmother taught her that crying is for cowards. She is not a coward. Ámbar held back the tears that wanted to come out.
He put one hand on her shoulder. His touch felt so warm. "Are you sure, because-" Ámbar pulled away his hand and interrupted him with an irritated look. "I'm fine! Don't worry about me." She clenched her fists so hard she could, that if she just clenched a little harder, she would surely bleed. "Can't you just go away!"
Simón looked down at the floor. "Okay, I will..." He turned to go outside from the locker room at Jam & Roller. Ámbar didn't really know why, but his sad expression caused her to regret what she just had done. Why? She had no idea. But she needed this, more than ever.
"Wait!" He turned around and looked at her with sad eyes. Before she knew it, she ran towards him so that he almost fell and she embraced him. Simón was surprised but accepted the hug and that was when she let out everything she had kept inside for so long. The tears fell, his clothes were probably filled with tears, but he seemed not to care. He said nothing, instead he let her be and it made her almost crying even more. How could he be so kind to her?
After an eternity, she pulled away from the hug. Her cheeks were completely wet, her eyes were red and she saw that his clothes were a little wet too. "Thank you..." she said - almost like a whisper. "And... and I'm really sorry about-"
"It doesn't matter." He smiled at her with the kindest smile she had ever seen, and for the first time in a long time, she began to smile too.
playing games.
Gastón should have listened to Ricardo when he said that his daughter was a pro at playing video games. He and his girlfriend had been sitting for two hours and played a game and Nina had won over him all the time.
It's not like he was a beginner or so, since he had spent time with his best friend Matteo and played games with him. But he had to admit that his girlfriend is good. Very good.
"Give up?" Nina asked with a smile. She saw that Gastón was getting tired and groaned every time he lost.
"Nope. We play some more." Actually, he had almost no feeling in his fingers, his brain was about to kill him, but he wanted to continue. He held a swear word when he almost lost again.
Ricardo was right. His daughter is a pro and even he could not win over her - how could Gastón be able to beat her?
Nina hesitated, "We should take a break and then we play again. Sounds good?" Gastón was about to shook his head to answer but then he nodded. He needed some rest. He was exhausted and he saw on Nina's face that she was too.
They went into the kitchen and took a drink. After 20 minutes, Gastón felt that he could finally feel his fingers. And after talking about books, poetry, what is going on at Jam & Roller, school and FelicityForNow's latest post (Nina is such a beautiful writer and he loves every single post she writes) both felt to play again.
They went to the living room and sat down on the sofa. Nina pressed on "Play" and they started playing.
This time, however, Gastón felt he was more into the game than before. He finally felt that he had control.
And he couldn't believe when a pop-up window came on and told him that he had won.
Gastón wasn't going to go; "I WON, YOU LOST HAHA." on his girlfriend like some people who hadn't been able to beat someone and then they do that. He turned to Nina who smiled at him, wasn't sad at all that she had lost this time.
"It looks like you finally won." Nina smirked and gave her boyfriend a hug.
Gastón couldn't almost answer, he was still shocked. "Y-yeah... but how?"
Nina shrugged. "Who knows?"
~~~~~
During the dinner, Ricardo leaned in to his daughter and whispered into her ear; "You let him win, didn't you?"
Nina didn't respond but her wide smile revealed that he had been right.
