You see the scrubs and the smile… but let me take you behind the scenes of a day in my life at the hospital 👇
6:30 AM – Alarm. Snooze. Coffee. Try to meditate while a dog is licking my foot and my daughter’s asking where her shoe is. 💀
8:00 AM – Clock in. First patient’s a nervous pup who pees on the floor and my shoe. We’re off to a great start. 🐶😂
9:30 AM – Help restrain a 90-lb German Shepherd who suddenly thinks he’s a kangaroo. My biceps are crying.
11:00 AM – Comfort a pet parent after a hard diagnosis. Hug her like I mean it—because I do. 💔
1:00 PM – Lunch? What’s that? I inhale a granola bar between phone calls and poop clean-ups. 💩
3:00 PM – Puppy vaccines = serotonin. Baby wiggles and kisses are the BEST part of my job. 🥹🐾
5:30 PM – Clock out. Heart full. Feet aching. Brain still racing.
6:00 PM – Back to mom mode, dinner chaos, and pretending I have it all together (lol I don’t—but I try).
This life is messy, emotional, and absolutely exhausting—but it’s also so full of meaning.
And honestly? I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Shoutout to my fellow vet warriors. We do hard things every day—with heart, hustle, and humor. 🫶
