-Suddenly, Cory hears a voice from the stairs. It's low with the hint of a rasp, but it is also firmly reassuring and kind.-

"Hey... Cory, right?"

-When she whips around, she comes face-to-face with a fusion, standing at around 9 feet tall, with one long, chunky braid flowing from the top of her head and down the side. Warm, brown eyes flicker with concern, and she takes a cautious step forward.-

"I'm... Turquoise. I'm taking care of the temple while everyone is away."

Uhh... My nightmares were really bad. Amethyst told me Jasper had nightmares too. I reached out to Jasper to see if there was anything that helped her. She tried to get me to talk about it... I waited a bit to long to do so... I started to corrupt... She helped me and kinda took me under her wing

"She... did? Really?? M-Mari! I'm sorry, it's just surprising...she is capable of caring for others...I know that, I know that, [sigh]. You okay, hun? Deep breaths. Y-Yeah. I'm okay. We're okay. You are okay. Erhm. S-sorry about that, Cory. It was so kind of her to do that for you, and I'm glad she did. You deserve a family who loves you. It's just... it's hard to think about Jasper without... her getting upset. They have a little bit of an... ongoing beef. I don't know much about her past or how she's interacted with others, but from what Ive heard I get why you would think that

-All of Turquoise's four eyes blink at once, looking at the kitty with tears starting to form. She presses her palms together and raises her hands up to her lips.-

"Ohh... how cute♡... and fiesty☆! Jasper must mean a lot to you too, huh? And I went and insulted her... I'm really sorry."

-Turquoise's voice is even and gentle, and she slowly leans in to let the kitten sniff the tips of her fingers.-

"Promise I won't hurt you, little one. I'm a friend."

-binx just looks up annoyed and I laugh-

I think she's annoyed cause she usually sits there. Just put her in your lap and she will cuddle
