Another Pinterest photo study! This time I wanted to practice drawing an environment, as well as experiment with some default Photoshop brushes. These studies are fun to do!

I’ve never done portrait studies before, so this was an interesting experience. Definitely challenging but I learned a lot! I used a photo I found on Pinterest as the reference.
Tried something new and drew an art style study based off of a Patreon tutorial by one of my favorite artists, @deariyue (I had actually saved the tutorial a long time ago lol…). I followed along as best as I could but I definitely need to practice drawing hair, amongst other things! Slowly but surely. ^^
I've always had a fascination with merfolk and the ocean.
Redrawing old art is so satisfying.
Work in progress!
Hello, hello! Long time, no post. I was super busy with grad school but now I have a break until mid-January. ^^ I decided to do an artist meme to ease myself back into art and posting here. The original template is by olivinearc on Twitter; I modified it to fit my branding. Now that I think about it, this is the first ever drawing I’ve completed on my iPad haha!
Aiko for PandaDumpling on GaiaOnline.
Decided to draw my favorite Pokémon from my childhood! This was a struggle since I don't usually draw non-humans haha. I did learn a lot though, especially about shading with gradients!
[🔊 Sound on] My final project for my Motion Across Media class. I’m pretty happy with how this turned out!
Repainted an old piece from 2021. This was a more stylistic experiment; I had fun adding all those random colors and using a more painterly approach. I'm definitely getting more comfortable with less structure in my art!
My first official art of my OC, Ami! Decided to do a pixel art style to challenge myself!
I need to come up with better backgrounds.
This was an experimental piece that I almost gave up on but I'm glad I revisited it. My first time painting a hand!
My very first pixel sprite walk cycle animation! This was done for my Motion Across Media class. I still have a lot to learn and improve!
More portrait practice. It was meant to be a self-portrait but turned into something else lol. I actually own those earrings and that shirt. I will be opening commissions for these soon!
I made a pixel icon of my OC, Ami, for my DeviantArt avatar! I just finished conceptualizing her today, and I can't wait to draw more of her and get her character sheet ready. ^^
I tried a new style of painting with this portrait! Instead of using line art, I used blocks of color to get the composition down. I think this method really streamlines my process and I can’t wait to experiment more with it.
