     Steve ponders Bucky’s words for a bit. It’s a mix of emotions, really. Steve knows he’s not alone, that he’s not the only one that’s lost both parents. But part of him thinks he is, as though he’s the only one to experience such gut-wrenching emotions. It’s a pit Steve’s falling down continuously, only making contact with the jagged rocky walls the same days every year. 

     Steve feels another rock in his stomach and looks up at Bucky. “I need company right now. Do you mind staying the night?”
