Important Thing

I’ve not been posting too much recently and when I have I haven’t been as enthusiastic about, well, anything. This is because I’d been going through a rough time - mainly in school - but I’ve entered a ‘new chapter’ of my life and have decided that maybe a fresh start on a new blog will do me good.

For now I have this main blog (which I’ll keep as an archive) for asoiaf, @amffitrite for greek myth and @matildaflan for history. On this new blog I’ll have all three fandoms (I know greek myth isn’t a fandom but still) and more - cause sideblogs are a lot to deal with, okay??

The new blog is @ickarrus and is currently Under Construction but you can come speak to me over there if you like. And as for the friends I’ve made on this blog, I’d love it if you could continue speaking to me on that blog.

Thanks so much, I hope I can continue to find so much happiness and laughs on tumblr as I have so far!

hades was always considered odd, teachers and relatives ever comparing him to his wild, colourful siblings, younger and older. he was meant to take over the family business as the eldest son but hades had other things in mind - somewhere along the way he became the owner of a funeral home his father had once owned and made it into a very successful business. hades is well respected (if not liked) and the rumours go he owns most if not all the funeral homes in the city.

hera had always loved being smart and good at things and so her going to university to study medicine, mathematics and psychology - and did brilliantly - surprised nobody. she had decided to become a midwife and became the head midwife of her department very quickly. as ever, hera moved up the ranks and at one point someone suggested she be a marriage counsellor, which she had once wanted to be. it wasn’t long before she was a well known, acclaimed (wealthy) counsellor. and she actually eventually became a famous talk show host known for her bluntness and, yes, feminist beliefs.

Hera: regal af, all your friends are in awe of her, kind of a nag but means the best for you, will absolutely murder anybody who harms you, probably a CEO somewhere, gives the best hugs

Demeter: makes sure you eat healthy, brings you flowers whenever you accomplish anything, loves to garden, takes you hiking, tries to make you do yoga with her, kind of a neat freak

Athena: helps you with your homework, workaholic, bit of a neat freak, teaches you how to be self-sufficient, checks your grades every day, high expectations but loves you a lot, needs glasses but doesn’t wear them often

Artemis: your single aunt that you love like a mother, had a really interesting life when she was younger, tells the best stories, has a circle of equally awesome friends who have sort of adopted you, a secret badass, can definitely run in heels

Aphrodite: the absolute queen of girls’ days, will let you give her a makeover even though she’s already stunning, takes better selfies than you do, gives the best relationship advice, would probably do your prom makeup for you, makes you feel beautiful and loved no matter what

Hestia: crochets blankets in her free time, always smells like vanilla, a really good cook, will always let you cuddle with her when you need it, your health is her only priority, always bringing home random pets from the animal shelter
