Getting into Transformers is forcing me to learn how to draw 3D shapes actually.
The green guy isn’t anyone specific so I guess is an OC. He’s the first time I tried drawing a cybertronian. His colors are based on migraine medicine and Advil lol
Also funny thing I thought Macaddam was pronounced Maca dam, not Mac addam until I watched some episodes of Cyberverse…
I love the transformers fandom because someone will post something like 'omg i love spingtron he's everything to me!' and you'll go to the tfwiki to find that spingtron was a character who was in 2 panels of a single marvel comic that was only sold in Scotland on rainy days in December 1989

transformers is funny because it seems to be a simple niche interest but in reality its like if your hot wheels came with greek mythology
returning to this one more time to say that since posting this, people have compared it to other religious stories & mythology both here and on twitter, which is fine but whats really important is that i was thinking about it like this
Do kids today even understand why podcasts are called podcasts?
Well, you see, kids, almost twenty years ago Apple produced a portable audio player called – wait, I need to go back further.
Okay, so in the 20th century, the new inventions of radio and television were known as broadcast media – no, wait, that’s not really the start either –
Broadcasting originally refers to throwing, or casting, handfuls of seeds onto prepared ground, typically used with grain crops, which, uh –
– the Agrucultural Revoution, which begain circa 10,000 BC in the Levant, was when humans began preserving seeds for replanting –
Guy who made death stranding: Getting some real "Death Stranding" vibes from this situation
People, especially games, get eldritch madness wrong a lot and it’s really such a shame.
An ant doesn’t start babbling when they see a circuit board. They find it strange, to them it is a landscape of strange angles and humming monoliths. They may be scared, but that is not madness.
Madness comes when the ant, for a moment, can see as a human does.
It understands those markings are words, symbols with meaning, like a pheromone but infinitely more complex. It can travel unimaginable distances, to lands unlike anything it has seen before. It knows of mirth, embarrassment, love, concepts unimaginable before this moment, and then…
It’s an ant again.
Echoes of things it cannot comprehend swirl around its mind. It cannot make use of this knowledge, but it still remembers. How is it supposed to return to its life? The more the ant saw the harder it is for it to forget. It needs to see it again, understand again. It will do anything to show others, to show itself, nothing else in this tiny world matters.
This is madness.
Thank you for this good PSA because I’m still seeing sincere, published, professional writers doing “ahhhhh oh no this monster was SO UGLY i’m mentally ill now!”
forms of eldritch horror include but are not limited to - nobody will ever believe you, you must live alone with this knowledge - you will never feel safe again, and you realize you were never safe before - everything that was familiar is now strange and abhorrent to the point anything that now seems normal should be held in utmost suspicion - having this new knowledge has opened doors that will continually reveal new equally cursed knowledge without end - death and madness are no longer escapes
Guys, this had to have happened. It had to.
This gave me such college vibes. When i was in college, we'd on occasion have criminals that escaped the cops run through campus, and so an emergency alert would be put out, and me and my roomie would literally be like this video 😂😅
Saw this at the store today.
