i know i havenāt played a long time but im pretty sure that apophis from sve has a bigger version of itself out there somewhere š¤ like that ep from mlp when twilight had to deal with some bear and it turned out to be a CUB, which is tiny compared to the real thing. anyway i believe serperial from the ridge forest is the closest⦠entity? to apophis (even though they are more similar to serpents from the skull cavern) and i wonder whether there are entities MUCH bigger and scarier than them. moreover, why does apophis keep surrounding the badlands and what is the real history behind it? why did it choose that place including the entrance to the castle village? (where we can see our beloved npc who are just watching and observing us die like bazzilion times š) how does the people of the village feel when the only (maybe) entrance is sealed off and there is no contact w outer land? (im talking about those who do not possess any magic whatsoever, if there are such, and cannot do anything about the situation but hope for the miracle and depend on mages and warriors)
man i wish castle village to be released i have so many theories and questions ://
The game strongly implies it was Qi who created Apophis, and mostly possibly all the corrupted monsters. And it hints that he has some disagreements with Castle Village and/or Camilla and her followers, since he insults Rasmodius in the hidden cutscene.
So it's not a coincidence that Apophis is this close to Castle Village.
oooh would be interesting if farmer could have a choice of siding w someone!! though i wonder how massive is the disagreement itself if he created sth that killed a lot of ppl⦠i thought maybe it is related to yoba and religions but honestly we do not know much about religions and gods in stardew otherwise than yoba ig⦠also i do not take mr qi as someone religious soooo might be sth more political ?? ig
I would love to choose who to help! Or, since we'll be able to learn magic in Castle Village, choose which side to learn magic from. We can learn forbidden potions from the witch, so why not dark magic from Qi?
My theory is that they argued about how magic should be learned/practiced. All mages we see are very traditional, to the point where they're stuck in the medieval ages technology wise, while Qi uses all sorts of modern tech in his business. Maybe at some point they argued which type of magic was the best, the one that constantly used new unproven techniques or the one that perfects already accepted paths?
So now Qi put an evil serpent near Castle Village to prove that his methods are better.
ooh tbh i want more info about dark magic and how mr qi implements it into the modern tech!!! also how would mages who already see him as NOT trustworthy react to it? lol it would be like double chaos, mainly because
1) they are unfamiliar with modern technologies
2) dark magic is already unruly, imagine the unexpected when it will collide with all the improved tech !!! would be sooo interesting if concernedape includes this
