Stargate isn’t going to be made anymore and this day sucks 😭
STARGATE SG-1 04.05 • Divide and Conquer
I’m not saying you should sit in front of your television like a toddler watching Elmo for this scene, but if you did, you’d notice that right before he says “a lot more than I’m supposed to” his eyes move. He’s not looking at the sensor anymore. He’s looking at Sam. He’s not admitting it to the testing apparatus. He’s admitting it to her.
I've just finished catching up on the last few episodes of each and:
NCIS in 2026: saving the agency by Director Vance getting offed (never getting over this).
Versus
NIS in 1992: saving the agency by putting a C in the name.
Just the absolute difference between the two approaches.
The writing styles between the two is wild! I've been rewatching NCIS (more than halfway through season 1 right now) and it's crazy to see just how much the writing has changed. NCIS used to take risks that they don't really take anymore, and it wasn't all technobabble every episode. I still love NCIS, don't get me wrong, and I do think they write death well, but the overall styles between NCIS and Origins is so different it's like it's a completely different series altogether.
Also, I need Vance to make at least 5 ghostly appearances every season, thank you very much!
I'm probably someone's "not this guy again" on Tumblr

I remember a long long long time ago my mom was signed up for this job where you were sent movies and shows that hadn’t aired yet and you would watch it and then send feedback and the show we were sent was something about people working in a kitchen and it sucked like really bad, but the show eventually came out and then was canceled after a season or two.
Then a couple years ago I was doing a similar thing and I got sent a show that was so fucking boring I hated every second of it and I sent the feedback in but now it’s a fairly popular series and I see gifs for it regularly and I constantly wonder how people watch even a second of it.
get to know me meme - [9/10] favourite female characters: sam carter (stargate sg-1 & stargate atlantis)
“I’m an Air Force officer just like you are, Colonel. And just because my reproductive organs are on the inside instead of the outside doesn’t mean I can’t handle whatever you can handle. Colonel, I logged over 100 hours in enemy airspace during the Gulf War. Is that tough enough for you or are we gonna have to arm wrestle?“
stargate 1994 edit bc the cinematography of this film goes crazy

I fucking hate ebikes fuck those motherfuckers and all the dumbass parents that let their kids use them 🖕🏻
I saw a post earlier that kinda blamed audiences for not watching brilliant minds and they were angry because it’s a queer show and apparently all queer shows must be successful but… shows need to do more than just be a “queer show.” They have to stand out someway, and brilliant minds didn’t. There’s a million medical dramas out there right now, and the others that exist are either more well written or they’ve been on for so long that they’ve retained an audience that will last forever. There are many successful queer shows, going back for quite a few years now, and we gotta stop blaming audiences for not sticking around, and start working on getting more original ideas out there.
