One of my pet peeves about xenofiction is that most “xenofiction” is actually just human stories but all the characters just happen to be animals. Such as cats living in kingdoms and having villages and trade systems, etc. And/or all the conflict is anthropomorphic (interpersonal or societal rather than environmental).
Let animals live like animals! And maybe don't give them magic powers!
.
they put him on the jumbotron after he fouled out :(
Relistened to an old episode and Murph is still the fucking GOAT of combat encounters.
🌹🌹🌹
the character designs in welcome to hell are genuinely so well made and I can tell a lot of love went into all of them and that makes me really happy
.
the word "factually" is actually short for "faggot actually"
Cellbit's commentary/narration of the chess match between chayanne and richarlyson is fucking hilarious
"Richas is dancing on the table in a brand new move no other chess player has attempted before"
"They are moving their kings a lot in a very interesting move to reach a diplomatic agreement, maybe trying to leave only the kings in the end, okay okay"
"I see chayanne hasn't touched either of his rooks which is very smart, he is respecting the structure of a castle, towers* don't ever move!"
He is losing his mind everytime they miss a move to win the game I'm crying and I don't even really know how to play chess
*in portuguese we call rooks tower lol
Also something funny is that cellbit was calling the queen "rainha" (the literal translation) but in portuguese we call the chess piece "dama" (dame/lady). There is a moment richarlyson says he doesn't know what a queen is and cellbit thought he meant he doesn't even know the pieces, but I wonder if he was just making a joke lol. But that could be just me, it was hilarious euther way.
