hello there, this is just a little pinned post. my name is J. i am over 25 years old, i use she/her pronouns and have been roleplaying for over 10 years. i am in the gmt timezone. i will apologise in advance for my shoddy activity i am mainly on of an evening and weekends! i ask for you to be a little patient with me as i am currently working a full time job while also completing a nursing degree! rping is what i enjoy using to help escape the chaos of it all.  i play both males and females. however, if you use me for my males, i will not take kindly to that. i’ve had it done in the past and it really does not sit well with me. so please interact with my males and females. i’m really friendly, i promise. please bare with my as my blog is currently under construction and a revamp.

And with that comes the end of my first year as a student nurse. Everything handed in and signed off! So now I can get back to you guys! Hopefully you haven't all forgotten about me and would still like to rp?! I will say that while i've been absent, i have been creating some new bios to add to my fcs so there's a plus!

Welp, that is one stress gone. We've washed our hands of it and submitted finally. I'm gonna the rest of this evening to chill and have an early night as I'm back on placement tomorrow. I've literally got 2 days left to complete this assignment, and I could cry. Honestly, who thought going back to uni was a good idea? Someone remind me why I'm doing this.

Apologies for the delay in my responses and the lack of replies. I have an assignment due on Monday, so I'm focusing on that for now. I'll get back to you as soon as possible and try to work on the threads during my breaks.

Open to female muses | Plot: Lorena has a big crush on your muse. She’s delusional and thinks the feelings are mutual and keeps flirting with your muse, despite the fact that your muse has a partner and is planning to propose to them soon. 

“Is this for me?”, Lorena questioned cheekily, holding up the ring she’d found in the other woman’s dresser drawer. Sure, she wasn’t supposed to look in there, but she couldn’t help snooping. Especially when her crush had been acting so strange lately. She giggled when she saw the look on the other’s face. “Oh, don’t look at me like that, I was just curious! I didn’t mean to ruin the surprise.”

Zehra felt the blood drain from her face, leaving her skin pale and clammy. The ring box, usually tucked away so carefully beneath a pile of sweaters, was now held aloft by Lorena, who seemed to think this was all some sort of game.

"Lorena," Zehra managed, her voice barely a whisper, "put that down. What are you even doing in here?"

The request wasn't aggressive, more pleading. The lightness in Lorena's voice grated on Zehra's nerves. It was like Lorena was completely oblivious to the gravity of the situation. She watched Lorena, her eyes pleading. This wasn't the cute, harmless crush Zehra had been awkwardly enduring for months. This was something else entirely.

"It's... it's private," Zehra continued, her voice stronger now, laced with a desperate plea. She needed the ring back, needed to salvage this somehow before this escalated any further. "It's important. Please."

She braced herself, ready for an argument. The proposal was supposed to be perfect, a surprise carefully orchestrated, a symbol of her unwavering love for Yasmin. Now, all of that was threatened, exposed to the twisted gaze of Lorena's obsession. She just hoped Yasmin didn't come home early.

The normally bustling street was eerily silent, a stark contrast to its usual vibrant energy. A flicker of movement in the periphery sent a shiver tracing its way down Faye's spine. Then came the definitive click of the automatic lock, the sharp sound echoing in the deserted street and seeming to freeze the very air. Faye’s heart plummeted.

Locked out. Again.

But this time, it wasn't a simple oversight. Her key card was useless against the building’s notoriously reliable security system. Something was wrong. A quick inspection revealed faint, almost invisible scratches around the card reader, barely discernible in the dim light. Tampered with.

She rattled the handle, a futile act fuelled by desperate hope. Then, a light flickered on in the building lobby, illuminating a vaguely familiar face framed by the glass— Emilia, another resident, her expression one of frustrated disbelief.

Instinctively, Faye pulled her phone from her pocket. She gasped at the screen: two missed calls from the security company and a new message.

EMERGENCY SYSTEM LOCKDOWN. KEY FOB AND MOBILE APP ACCESS DISABLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. DO NOT LET ANYONE IN.

"What the hell is going on?" Faye whispered, her pulse hammering against her ribs. Whatever was happening, it had just begun, and she was on the outside looking in.

"Great. You're going to get us all killed." Kaleb didn't bother to hide the edge in his voice as he trudged after the other person. Every step he took, following the leader, felt like another nail hammered into his coffin. What had sounded like a brilliant, boredom-busting adventure just hours ago now reeked of impending doom. "I'm too pretty to die," he muttered, tugging at the atrocious windbreaker. "And absolutely, positively refuse to haunt anyone as an eighty's horror film reject. Seriously, this neon is an abomination." He cast a disgusted look at his outfit. "i’m too pretty to die. I swear, I'll come back as a vengeful spirit. And trust me, being stuck in an eighty's horror movie reject outfit for eternity is a fate worse than death."

"My lawyer's reviewed it, it's precisely as we discussed." JJ rose from her desk, crossing to the liquor cabinet to pour them both a drink. She needed the fortification. She hated to be made a fool and right now. shame gnawed at her, a bitter contrast to the pride she usually wore. All her careful work, painstakingly distancing herself from her father's shadow, was threatened by her ex's reckless gambit to outsmart her.

She offered him a glass. "Thank you, again, for doing this. I know there's something in it for you, but you could have refused." The charade demanded convincing performances: public appearances, insufferable family dinners lubricated by copious amounts of alcohol. "Which brings me to this: believability is crucial, and secrecy is paramount. My family believes I cheated on Paul. They're already scrambling to salvage our image. 'Golden girl calls off engagement and marries another' doesn't exactly scream 'trust worthy' to the press." She rubbed her temples, anticipating the onslaught of unanswered calls waiting for her.

"They can't know the truth. The fallout would be catastrophic, jeopardizing countless business deals. I refuse to let that happen. Infidelity is a tolerated vice in our family, but stupidity? Naivety? Those are unforgivable sins." @indiestarter
