I feel like I treat tumblr like that friend...
you know the one you only seem to look for when life kinda sucks?
Yup.
My heart hurts.
The feelings is some what tiring due to its familiarity.
Just be patient, beloved.
I'm so grateful for my tumblr...
I don't use my tumblr as frequently as I used to but days like today I just feel so overwhelmed and it is nice to have a safe place to just clear my mind. Â
My heart is tired.
After I had in this essay, I have one more essay to do then I am off to Malta on holiday *happy sigh*
I just came back from morocco almost 2 months ago so the wanderlust hasn't fully started but nonetheless I am grateful to be able to travel
MALTA!!
I am a tiny bit experienced with travelling , so I get some messages from people asking nme how I go about buying cheap tickets as a student. Here are a few known tips!
So today I was really struggling to worship God because this season has been so tough and my little heart was tired and little hurt.
Then I remembered how one of my amazing close friends is just entering such a beautiful season (after leaving such a rough season).
"Rejoice with those that rejoice" - Romans 12:15
...
Ah! And up we got from my bed to praise him and have a little worship session!
If you can't praise him for your own situation then look at someone else's and praise him for theirs!
"Many things in life will hurt but please never think that LOVE is one of them." - Holy Spirit
Honour and celebrate the people in your life that are doing well - even if they are doing well in the same field you desire. There is no room for comparison or jealousy in honour and celebration! Trust me, someone else's open door does not mean a closed door for you. No one can take your destiny and purpose. It has been designed and fabricated perfectly just for you. So do not allow the enemy to install discontentment in your heart. keep your eyes on what you are doing and allow the right opportunities for you to chase you down in the right time but most importantly; honour and celebrate the people in your life that are doing well!
When I’m a parent I’m definitely going to ask my child often “are you okay?” I never want my child to be crying their eyes out when I’m peacefully sleeping under the same roof and I certainly never want them to feel like there’s nobody there for them. Because I always will be
We assume others show love the same way we do — and if they don’t, we worry it’s not there.
Everyone has their own love language. That’s one of the most important lessons I’ve ever learned. (via c-oquetry)
This is so important. THIS IS SO IMPORTANT.

I conceived myself that no one loved me before I learnt this.
So everyone is getting engaged and I am just here laying on my floor eating a popsicle

From the Streets of Brownsville, Brooklyn to the Oval Office
A couple of weeks ago, a photo of 13-year-old Vidal appeared on Humans of New York, a popular blog. He talked about his principal Ms. Lopez, saying: “She told each one of us that we matter.” After garnering more than 1 million likes and shares on social media, the photo gave rise to a national campaign that has raised more than $1 million for Mott Hall Bridges Academy, a middle school in Brownsville, Brooklyn — the neighborhood with the highest crime rate in New York City. The funds will send students to visit Harvard, support summer programs and provide scholarships.
Their story inspired people all around the country, including the President.
What began on the streets of Brownsville, Brooklyn made its way to the Oval Office. Today, Vidal Chastanet, Nadia Lopez and Brandon Stanton, the Humans of New York creator and photographer, sat down with President Obama to share their incredible story.
