There's this guy currently watching and reacting to Bleach on Tiktok and his videos are usually pretty enjoyable. What's hilarious is that at first he was like, "What the fuck is wrong with this guy?!" and now we've gotten to TYBW and Mayuri showed up in his glowing sun suit and he was like, "MAYURI! :D"

Last time I was unemployed, it was for two and a half years because of Covid.

It's been six months this time and I honestly don't think I can handle another six. I'm exhausted. If I don't get a job by the end of the year then I don't know how I'm going to survive.

It's funny, back in 2019 I had this small argument with my flatmate, and immediately after it was over, I started planning how I was going to leave.

Thing is, it was a small disagreement but it was very much also the final straw. She was such a bitch to live with, she never spoke to me unless it was about bills and spend like 99% of her time either at work or in her room. (I never once saw her use the cooker or oven.) The one time we had a conversation it was her biting my head off.

Yesterday my current flatmate and I had a small discussion (not even an argument) about cleaning, but already I'm kind of mentally checking out. It's not because of the discussion, but it's because it brought to the forefront that I actually do not enjoy living with this girl. We're not compatible and we never really hang out or even talk to each other that much. I knew we'd have a lot of differences when we first moved in, especially since there's a big age difference between us, but honestly I cannot do this for another six months. (Also it pisses me off how I have more stuff but I have the smaller bedroom.) Finding a new flat will be incredibly difficult since I the only income I have is off benefits, but fuck, it's impossible to relax around someone you barely know and your relationship is "mutual tolerance" at best.

I actually do think we should discourage women from becoming housewives. Do not become financially dependent on a man. That's how a lot of women ended up dead over the years. A man gets violent suddenly and you have to choose between homelessness or potentially dying at his hand because you have an enormous gap in your resume and no degrees or certifications or anything that will help you pursue a career that will allow you to be financially independent. He owns your bank account. His name is probably the one on the car. Try and leave and he can report it stolen. Where will you go then?

If I had a pound for every time a TV show I enjoyed decided to kill off the character that made me watch it in the first place and then start relentlessly promoting its spinoff series like I'm supposed to give two fucks about it, I'd have two pounds. Which isn't a lot but it's weird it's happened twice already in 2026.
