Writing the next chapter now. I don’t know how far I’ll get into it, especially since I have a meeting in a little while, but it’s start.
I know my updates have been few and far between, but I’m asking you all to bear with me. Life is really hectic right now and this is the first night in weeks that I haven’t had any pressing assignments to work on. I hope you guys understand.Â
Writing is put on hold for now. My friend’s mom is in the hospital and things aren’t looking good. I’m waiting on news now. If I end up waiting at the hospital with her, I’ll bring my laptop and write some if I get the chance (after homework, but that’s not a guarantee either). Just a PSA, because given the way things are going right now it will be a decent amount of time before I have another chapter out.Â
Chapter 15 is up!
Writer’s block. It’s the bane of our existence. When I’m agonizing in front of a blank screen, starting a scene already in progress works wonders to get those juices flowing. Think of it as walking in at the middle of an argument. Who cares if it’s a scene that doesn’t take place chronologically or may end up discarded? Choosing to dive into a conflict in progress definitely gets the ball rolling.

Sorry ‘bout that.
But yeah, I’m out for the summer and going to be writing a lot more (hopefully). I just suck at managing my time between all the shows and books I’ve also told myself to take care of. So far I have to catch up on Once Upon a Time, Reign, and Arrow, finish White Collar, and start Daredevil. Then I have to reread Harry Potter and Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus, then read The Uglies, Wicked, and several others on a list.
I’m going to try to make it a point to do a little writing every day. I think after this chapter I’m currently writing, things should pick up a bit. I just have to push through this block.
Yeah, I know, it’s been forever. I’m just trash, okay.
But seriously, you guys have no idea how swamped I have been. May God have mercy on my soul. So many papers. *twitch*
But! I’m actually super close to finishing this chapter! Maybe today or tomorrow it will be finished and I’ll send it off to my editor. Thanks for sticking with me.
So we got an unexpected snow day and I'm out of class for the whole day :) Which means at some point I will probably be able to write some of the next chapter! That will be after I finish all my other work that's due tomorrow, but I will be able to write today and that's what matters :)
It's going to be a while longer on the next chapter, guys. It suddenly hit me exactly how much I have to do this week, and probably next week as well. I'm sorry. :( If I ever get a free moment, I'll work on it, but probably not enough to get it finished. I'll do my best, though.

Here is my dilemma
I want to write. I want to write so so badly. But God help me, I have no motivation to do anything but sit here and binge watch shows on netflix at 1:41 AM.
I promise I am trying to get the next chapter finished, but I'm struggling. I'm so stressed with all the work I have to do, and up until last week I had papers due almost 3 times a week, and now we're getting into the busiest part of the semester and I found out Thursday that I have to read an entire Shakespeare play AND write an annotated bibliography in less than a week, and then the research paper for paper is due the day after my birthday (not really how I envisioned spending that day) and i'm also freaking out about this interview I have on Tuesday because everything is riding on me getting this job.
Please bear with me. I'm trying.

There may be cause for mild panic
My laptop didn't eject my USB properly and force ejected it, so now it says the information is "damaged" and "corrupt." As of the moment, it's allowing me to open and edit files, but I can't save new files to it. Let's hope it stays like that until I can get a new one when I go home in a couple weeks.
I swear I'm, like, having war flashbacks to that time a couple years ago when the same thing happened, but then nothing would open at all and I cried, It was the most horrifying experience of my life.
