Please help me move

I’m so sorry, I hate having to ask for help and I know its a challenging time for everyone right now, but I’m now living on borrowed time. 

My name is Chris, I’m a 24 year old queer person. I’ve been my mothers caretaker since I was 16 years old. For the past four years I’ve been trying to save up to move us out of a very dangerous situation and nearer to my mothers family so both of us can receive the support we need. Unfortunately, between the pandemic limiting work, my dogs medical problems (and one of their deaths), and the car breaking down – I’ve lost every penny.

My house is quite literally falling down around us; weak floors, sagging roof, cracks in the walls that let the winter air in, and a roach infestation thats left me with a phobia for life. We’ve also been living without a fridge, a proper stove, or electrical in half the house for 3 of these 4 years. The landlord will not do anything about any of these problems.

I’m terrified of this house and my mental health, as well as my mothers, is degrading to the point of self harm. I desperately need to move away from here. If you’re able to help I would forever be in your debt and forever thankful. 

My goal is to raise $5000; it is an out of state move which is why I need so much.
