Deeply astonished and impressed by the beauty products of Buly 1803, which had been a very popular line 200 years ago and was meticulously revived rather recently. This is the kind of attention to detail in everyday objects that draws me to antiques and which has largely fallen out of fashion in modern life- Except of course, in France, where even disposable pastry boxes and cheap paperbacks are beautiful. I am in love.
