Idea for journaling - make a list of 20 prompts and roll a 20-sided die to determine which one you will do for the day. Here is my list:
1. What I wish I could change ...
2. This has been bugging me lately ...
3. I am anxious when ...
4. I am sad when ...
5. Write a letter of forgiveness to your past self.
6. How has ____ held me back this week/today?
7. Plan an activity to reduce stress/anxiety and do it.
8. I am proud of ...
9. The last time I felt this way, I ...
10. One way I could love myself more ...
11. I am grateful for ...
12. Pick a book or movie and explain why it resonates.
13. A letter of advice to your past self.
14. What song is "giving you life" today?
15. 15 things I love about myself.
16. Do a creative writing prompt
17. Find an inspiration word or quote for the day/week
18. My favorite body part/quality about myself is ...
19. A recent (or historical) accomplishment I've done is ...
20. A happy memory is ...
The best part is, you can always re-roll. Noone is going to be disappointed if you don't do the random promot of the day. Its just an option for those who would overly spend time scheduling their journal prompts and planing on writing thier journal without actually doing it. (Yay executive dysfunction.)
