headcanons below, will add on/change
heavy hc. when error is upset/breaking down he will start destroying things and/or start hitting himself. usually he hits himself on his head or legs ,, he's just feeling too much that he doesn't know what to do with it. so he takes it out by destroying the only thing that he's really known and stayed.
to add onto this, when he's feeling like that more error bars/pop ups will appear. his voice will get more glitchy and eventually he'll be unable to see because of all the static in his eyes. (error can hear the static, btw. it's really loud. he's scared of the sound, now because of that ..but don't tell him I told you.)
when error sleeps or is falling asleep, his error pop ups/bars will change to have 'Zzz', '...', or like some random ass sleeping emoji on them. they often end up covering his face/eyes. (hoarder alex inspo.. 😛)
error WILL treat people, who he believes are 'below him', like a bug you want to keep in a jar and analyze. he will tie you up, drag you around, and expect you to be okay with it. (maybe some of you freaks are. I don't blame you.)
error does not understand the concept of sexuality. i mean this in a way since he hasn't really experienced love in general himself before ,,.. however. as time goes on and he sees other people experience it - he's still.. confused about it. why does it matter? why put more names on something that already has its own? it's just love.
i think error would get the concept of gender. at least, most of it anyways. he knows he's a boy, and that most sanses are. he knows that there are some girl versions. he understands people who don't fit the binary/don't identity as those, because. well. he quite literally is an 'error.' a part of me thinks that sometimes error questions his gender. he understands trans people, even with the most simple explanation: 'a person being born in the wrong body'
he.. honestly just doesn't care (for both gender and sexuality). not in the rude way, he'll use the correct pronouns, names, he's not gonna hate or judge your relationship (not for your sexuality, at least /silly). he just doesn't care what people do or identify as. they're just people.
while we all know error has haphephobia, error is a bit touch starved. he does sometimes crave for a connection, like the ones he's seen on tv or when he's watching an AU. not in a romantic way, necessarily. just a presence there would be nice, too.
error is near sighted. (he can see things close, but not far away.) he usually doesn't bother to wear his glasses though.
error sometimes forgets to reply. he usually does this because he replies back in his head. he's used to talking to himself so if he's not too focused, the voices mix together and he forgets.
sometimes he just straight up ignores you.
error does have fangs and multiple tongues. huzzah, the crowd goes wild! he is capable of talking with his mouth closed though. (as in, how they do it in comics.) it's rare that he actually ever does open his mouth - really only to eat/drink.
However,, with this.. error frequently forgets to eat and drink. im not sure why,, he can just. go a couple of days without feeling the need to eat or drink, so he does.
Despite his home being bright white, he does actually enjoy darker environments. you'll often find him visiting Outertale or waterfall (from any au, really.) Wherever it's quiet and pretty, he'll probably be there.
Error sighs and sits up, eyelights looking over at Swap. He notices him lying on the 'floor', tired. He raises his hand slightly and strings appear, lifting Swap up and setting him into a hammock similar to his.
LMFAO. honestly,, im not that sure. BUT !! i feel like very long like,, slow burn fics that have. like. 30 chapters or something !!! (he'll read fics even if they dont have a lot of chapters, as long as the writings still *good*.)
maybe im, self projecting a bittt.. but. i do think sometimes he'd read really like ,, soft/fluff fics as well. just sometimes !!
