An-Ethereal-Love is a roleplay blog that is oriented around my Billie Bust Up OC, Asra!

Asra is a sweet, loving and motherly female barn owl who possesses great magic abilities and is an expert at magic. She uses her magic to heal those that are injured and sick, seeking to better the world through helping those in need.

She was the Royal Enchantress for the Nidora Kingdom, taking the title after her father’s passing when she was 17 and held it until her death at the age of 27. She was transformed into a ghost upon her death due to a hex on a pink tourmaline gem given to her that was a family heirloom in her family for three generations.

Now, in death, Asra is living her (after)life to the fullest, wishing to experience all that she wasn’t able to experience during her living days!

Although this blog portrays Asra as dead by default, the writer is open to roleplaying Asra when she is alive as well!

Other information that you would need to know would be:

Writer is 25+.

An artist who loves to draw (when the motivation can be found) and loves to make new friends when possible. Since the writer is an artist, you will see the writer's art displayed on this blog!

Writer is primarily in the Billie Bust Up and Darksiders fandoms, but will interact with various fandoms, even ones that they are not a part of.

Although this blog is not adult-oriented, there will be instances of vulgar language and other things along those lines. Despite this, the writer demands that all followers be 18+.

This blog is accepting of both ask and random roleplay starters, these will be answered and responded to when the writer can get to them!

Writer is more than happy to write with other fandoms and OCs!

Word had been spreading throughout the afterlife about a particular soul that somehow managed to come back from death, yet no one knew exactly how or why they had come back to life. It didn't take long for this to reach the ears of Asra, the ghost owl becoming quite intrigued and determined to find out how it had happened. It would take her some time to track down the soul in question and once she was able to coordinate where they were, she would soon appear in his immediate area, her light pink and ominous eyes coming into sight first before she walked out from a shadowy mist.

"Hm, that took a little longer than I had expected, but nonetheless, hello there! My name is Asra, and I do sincerely apologize for the sudden intrusion, but I've heard word of you and couldn't help but meet you myself."

He was busy— by busy he was cleaning his knife, and some of the tools he had. Had an apron on from getting blood on his clothes, soon he was finish he looked over seeing a mist. Odd to see that now, to see a woman ghost figured.

Now this is very odd, see the full view. It was now clear in his vision, “Are deep in the forest, so would take long trying to get here.” As he spoke up, now cleaning his hands. “Something I can do for you my dear?” Putting everything away in his bag, looked like he just got done with his daily work… Big one to say about it. A body on the floor that was in a beg. Getting ready to ship it off.

As soon as her body would fully come out to be revealed from the mist that she had appeared from, she would be watching what he was doing. It didn't take long for her to realize what exactly he was doing especially when she could clearly see that there was a body inside of the bag that was laying there on the floor, but it didn't phase her one bit. She did notice that they were deep inside of the forest, the atmosphere very soothing to her like she usually liked, but that was a different matter.

"True, that may have made it take me a little longer to arrive here, but nonetheless... I'm here on the grounds of pursuing knowledge. I've heard word that you had been brought back from the dead and was curious to find out how. Now, I have a wealth of magical knowledge under my belt from my living days and even more throughout my death, but nothing that I know adds up to understanding the ability for you to remain resurrected after so long in death. It's rather peculiar and certainly peaking of my interest, if I must be honest."

“I was indeed brought back, my Patron made a deal with helped along those lines, long I continue with my work.” Nox spoke, didn’t seem to care to tell anyone that heard the rumors of his rising from his grave. Looking over at the female now, “All depends as well with those want to bring those back, lucky enough to even met him.”

Dr. Noxious then put his weapon away, and taken his apron off. “Many different kinds of magic than ones you and others use. Use those to help others, some of us use ours to use bring death.” For he tells, he is one of the kinds uses his to attack the living, but seems he also attacks the dead. Way he was, he was a serial killer at one point, now being a magic user. Nox being far gone from being a responsible kind.

Her eyes would gleam very lightly as she was continuously filled with curiosity as she listened in on what he would say to her. A patron? In all of her years, she had never heard of such a title in such a regard. Clearing her throat as she covered her beak ever so slightly with her wing before looking back at him with a slightly quizzical expression upon her face, and she would respond to him with a rather bewildered tone of voice.

"A patron, you say? Can't quite say that I've ever really heard of that kind of thing nor person, for that matter. Though, I must say that what you're telling me is quite interesting, nonetheless. In that regard, I'm assuming that they are quite a powerful entity if they are able to bring you back from the grave."

Asra continued to observe Dr. Noxious with a mixture of curiosity and slight concern, but not very much. Though she only lived her living life for 27 years before her death, she's lived for another 100 years and has seen quite a lot during those years in her afterlife.

The revelation about Nox's dark past and his current use of magic for harm made her slightly uneasy, yet she brushed it aside hastily. Though she was an expert and practitioner of benevolent healing magic, Asra felt no need to judge him for how he used his magic, for she understood well that a great and powerful force, one that can be harnessed for both creation and destruction.

"I see... well, we all walk different paths in our lives, and the paths we walk with our magic all differ as well. In my living days, I primarily used my magic to heal others who were in need of aid. I would also do my best to be there and comfort those who needed help and guidance in times of darkness, all around being an individual who wanted nothing but the best for everyone. I cast no judgment to you for the path that you've walked and continue to walk, but I do thank you and admire your honesty about it. Hardly ever met anyone that's ever been upfront with what they do."
