“ANA -- you have to help me!”

James was flapping around the Entrance Courtyard clearly in distress. Two Slytherin boys were hassling Susan Bones because of her aunt working within the Ministry. Despite James trying to interject and stop them, he was having no luck at all.

“They won’t listen . . . I think we might have to use our wands …”

Ana stopped in her tracks, turning to face the student which called her. She didn't hesitate, seeing how James was acting and knowing he wouldn't prank her like this. As she rushed over to him, she glanced to the Slytherin students.

"I think we might have to... they aren't really the bunch to listen to anybody." Ana replied as she made sure she had quick access to her wand. The Ravenclaw didn't like getting into fights but sometimes there was no avoiding it.

"Leave her alone!" Ana yelled towards them.

The two Slytherin had gotten wind of Ana and James’ plan, instead they both sent a fury of curses in retaliation to make sure not come any closer. James flapped out of the way in panic, jumping in Ana’s direction so that they could instead work together to defeat the bullies. “Bloody hell!” Swore the Hufflepuff now taking out his wand, James was meant to be a prefect and sent an example but sometimes push came to shove. “Rictusempra!”

Ana was quick, defending herself against the bombardment, able to block the curses and tried to block them from her friend too. As she was trying to think of a plan, she was stunned at James using such a spell that she let her guard down for a moment, getting hit by a spell. The Ravenclaw was knocked down but quickly got back up, trying her best to disarm the Slytherin students.

“Ana!” James saw his friend get hit from the corner of his eye and immediately set up a protego charm infront of them both. “A-Are you alright?!” He panted catching his breath, James focused on maintaining his shield, however was worried for his friend's safety. The two were hit by a variety of aerial attacks, luckily deflected by James’ defences - for the time being. “We could call a professor . . . I don’t want to see you get hurt!”

The Ravenclaw was quick to get into a sturdy stance, using her friends shield to compose herself. She hated getting into fights when she didn't need to, but she would fight for those who couldn't fight for themselves. "Yeah, I-Im fine." She muttered, "You go get a professor, I can handle these guys... I have an idea." She thought if she hit the structure behind them, they'd stop sending spells and might give her enough time for a professor to arrive.

Hogwarts Legacy -> Ana finds Zacharias abused by goblins just outside of school grounds

Ana needed ingredients for an upcoming potions class. She knew it would be easier to gather them herself, and she'd avoid the queues at Hogsmead.

She saw Zacharias and hurried over, trying to help, "Hey... have they left? " She asked, notbsure if they were still in the area.

Zacharias quickly realised he was still holding onto Ana, shaking his hand free flustered and red face, the boy slowed his walking to a more comfortable rate. “I’m fine!” The Hufflepuff exhaled, however kept his wand equipped while constantly looking over his shoulder paranoid, “. . you handled yourself pretty well back there . . .” He seemed embarrassed by the whole fiasco, especially dragging someone he barely knew into the mix. The two were approaching closer to Hogwarts, where Summoner's Court was usually played, Zacharias laughed at the losers who played that game on the regular - he never thought he would be so happy to see the stage within the darkness.

The Ravenclaw took her hand back once it was let go, placing it in her robe pocket. She knew that they should be safe closer to the school, so she didn't keep looking behind them anymore. "Thanks, you didn't do too bad yourself, but I think if I wasn't in the duelling club, I wouldn't have been as good." She said modestly with a shrug. It had helped her being part of the club, but she would always practice any chance she could, even making time to do so. "Do you think you need to see the nurse? We'd have to tell someone about it so no other students get attacked... maybe they'd implement a buddy system or something."

He scoffed, coming to a halt outside the ancient castle, “the authorities are very aware since that attack on Hogsmeade, yet they do nothing.” Zacharias began adjusting his uniform, correcting his tie and hastily tugging his shirt into his person. It was getting quite dark and the two would surely get into trouble if they did not retire to their common rooms. “Maybe I will just have to join you in this Duelling Club but we really must be going - now.”
