Wanting to see a woman in the White House in your lifetime is not a good enough reason to overlook Hilary's multiple failures in words and policy.

People From Classic Paintings Inserted Into Modern City Life
this is so so so cool
#OurThreeBrothers : Taha Omar, Adam Mekki and Muhannad Tairab
As you all know, on Wednesday, February 24th, 2016 these boys were tragically and gruesomely murdered execution style in their hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
As expected the cops do not think they were victims of a hate crime (even though these boys were African immigrants and Muslims). There hasn’t been any updates on their murder.
A message from their cousin @hanzahara
Hello, My name is Zaharah Izadine Idriss. I have been following you for a very long and I noticed that sometimes you share things to bring awareness. I never thought I will be asking this but recently two of my cousins and their friend were killed for no apparent reason. My cousins did not have any enemies, they were good people but they were killed in the most brutal fashion. I started a gofundme.com campaign for them and also a launchgood.com campaign. I ask you to please share these links with your many followers. It has been a week since they were killed yet they received little to no attention. I am including some links to news articles so you are not blindly sharing something.

Family support & a youth center
A portion of your donations will help Taha, Adam, and Muhannad’s family and a portion will help fund a youth safe community service center and gathering place dedicated to Taha, Adam and Muhannad. Nothing we do can bring them back, but it is our hope that if we can create a safe gathering place for the youth we can prevent similar future tragedies.

Respect artist gotdamnit.
1. Stop putting bad filters on artist work. 2. Tag the fucking artist, if you don’t know who’s who work it is say “work is not mine, or artist unknown. 3. If you ask for a drawing expect to pay. 4. If you can’t afford them don’t try to make a deal. Just leave it alone. 5. This is the artist livelihood. The same way you clock in for work…their work should be treated the same. It keeps the lights on. 6. Constructive criticism and criticism are two different things. 7. The same way you have “the right” to comment on an artist work, they have a right to defend. 8. Just because you’re willing to pay doesn’t mean the artist has to take the job. There are different artist for different things not all of us do logos. 9. Respect the hustle. 10. Respect the art.

An abandoned castle in Italy by Rebecca Bathory
today is international women’s day. consider that globally it is women who bear the greatest responsibility for food production. women produce more than half of all food worldwide, accounting for 43 percent of the global agricultural labour force.
yet the united nations estimates that globally women own only 15 percent of the land. in india, for example, where women account for 87 percent of the agricultural producers, they own only 10 percent of the land; while in mali, women comprise about 70 percent of agricultural workers, but own only 3 percent of the land. the same numbers hold true for pakistan as well.
without land ownership, women are unable to secure loans needed to reinvest back into their land. yet if they were given the same resources as men, these women could increase their productivity by 30 precent, thus feeding an additional 150 million people in need.
