I have this headcanon where Sam has secretly had a nightmare (YES, AH HA, A NIGHTMARE, WE ALL BELIEVE THAT) where he was so tired of the events around him, so sad because of what has happened during Death stranding 2 (yup, i mean specifically THAT event at the beginning of the game) that he relied on Higgs for a bit of comfort (told ya it's a nightmare for him 🌚 hehe).

But Higgs' answer is just a finger gun as to say "dw babygirl, i got ya, we can live happily together in the afterlife 🤙"
