Uncertain

In the valley of my soul I find the shadow of doubt Haunted by that flicking light of faith I fear the uncertainty of its demise Cuz i haven’t paid much attention to my energy I mean no ones home anyway I have been too caught up in my indecisiveness Stuck at the fork in my path I have never left in my right mind PTSD from these missions I search deep in my mind for peace But i always come to the surface ready for war So many mirriors in this field that match my silhouette But not a living breath that fights next to me I’ve spent so much time fighting myself I need time to rest Body separate from mind Because my dreams are as well alive They attack my subconscious They are afraid i have realized my true self That i hate me, that i’m not me, no exclusivity I am slave to all trending influences My body follows the sharpest suit But my mind still stuck at the fork trying to figure out which path is right While the rest of me wanders towards the light
