I can't keep having the same conversations about love languages, mbti, iq, bmi, "brain fully formed at 25" and shit over and over again...
these things exist on a spectrum from untrue to straightforwardly racist btw. so if we could retire them forever that'd be nice.
“Love Languages” are just common couples therapy techniques mangled and repackaged by an unqualified homophobe. Relationships generally need all 5 love languages to be fulfilled, which is to say, everybody needs to communicate with, spend time with, and do things for their partners, and that’s got nothing to do with any special way you communicate affection.
MBTI has been proven completely ineffective at predicting anyone’s success at a particular job, and half the people who take it twice will get different results. Reputable psychologists do not recognize it, and the company that owns the rights to it uses it to scam people. People don’t adhere to strict binaries in basically anything. Very few people are going to be exclusively introverted or extroverted. It’s just astrology repackaged as pseudoscience. Shockingly enough, you can’t boil the complexity of the human experience down to a dozen Types of Guy.
The concept of IQ is flawed from the start— “intelligence” is an abstract concept that encompasses many different skills, from social intelligence to emotional intelligence to the very narrow kind of problem solving intelligence IQ tests generally measure for. It cannot predict how fast you learn, how much you know, or how logical and well read you are. It mostly measures how good you are at solving puzzles. Coincidentally, it’s also a pretty good predictor of income and education level, take a guess why. Most people’s IQ will change throughout their lives, because it’s inconsistent bullshit we’ve only held onto this long because we’re still kinda hoping we can breed the ubermensch. IQ tests and the way they attempt to categorize people are explicitly eugenicist and racist.
BMI was developed by a man known as the grandfather of eugenics, who first of all was a mathematician, not a doctor, and second never intended the formula to be used to categorize individuals. It’s intended to give a rough estimate of obesity in populations, and it’s not even good at that. It hangs around because of fatphobia and insurance companies who want it as an excuse to charge fat people more.
The study which determined people’s prefrontal cortex was still developing at 25… stopped measuring at 25. Evidence suggests your brain probably never stops developing. Stop infantilizing grown adults. This is a branch off from the larger mess of misinformation surrounding fMRIs.
If you haven’t put together what all these things have in common yet, here’s the moral of the story: STOP TRYING TO CATEGORIZE PEOPLE. STOP TRYING TO PUT PEOPLE IN A GODDAMN BIOLOGICAL HIERARCHY. EUGENICS IS BAD, AND WILL ALWAYS BE BAD, NO MATTER WHO’S DOING IT.
In the midst of difficult times and harsh living conditions in Gaza, our children, Ala'a, Rose, and Youssef, showed us the greatest meanings of humanity. Even when they were facing food shortages, they fed the small dogs at the back of the UNRWA school where we live with love and compassion.

Help Rewaa's family survive the hell of war in Gaza
Hello everyone, I am Rewaa Amir, a mother of five children from Gaza. A year ago, our lives were filled with love, ambition, and dreams, but in one moment, everything have turned into a nightmare.
My eldest son, Kinan, who is 13 years old,has been dreaming of becoming a doctor. He was an excellent in his studies, love listening to music, and playing football with his friends. He would always talk about how he would save lives when he grew up. Taim, who is 10 years old, loves cats and hopes to become a veterinarian one a day. He used to take care of the cats joyfully in the neighborhood. Akram, who is seven years old, has been dreaming of becoming an engineer to help rebuild his city. Amir, who is five, loves drawing and fills our house walls with his innocent drawings. And then there’s Salma, my only daughter, who is three years old. She brings joy into our lives with her childish smile.
But on 7th October, everything has been changed. We woke up to the terrifying sounds of explosions. The bombing was so intense that the sky turned to fire. My children’s screams mixed with the sound of the blasts. I didn’t know what to do other than hold them tight and pray to God to protect us.
We were forced to flee our home, which had been our only refuge, and became refugees in our own country. Kinan is still kept asking me, "Mama, will we go back home? Is my school still there?" and I couldn’t give him an answer. The dream of Kinan to be a doctor was fading away. As for Taim, who used to play with the cats every day, he cried when he realized we couldn’t take anything with us, not even his toys or his beloved cat, dearest friend.
Since then, our life has became a battle for survival. My husband Mutez Akrem lost his job because the factory he worked at was destroyed, and we no longer have any income. We’ve had to move multiple times, and each time we leave behind a piece of our lives. Now, we are living in a simple rented house in an area we don’t even know if it’s safe or not. Our debts are piling up, and we cannot afford food, water, or medicine for our children.
The war has made life unbearable here. Prices have skyrocketed; what we used to buy for one dollar, now costs twenty. I cannot bear to see my children hungry, and I cannot face the thought of losing this simple home too because we cannot pay the rent.
Every night, my children ask me, "Mama, will we go back to our house? Will we see our friends again?" and all I have for them are tears.
This is why I am writing to you now. We need help to survive. We need support to secure food, water, and medicine for my children. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a big difference in our lives. We are not asking for much, just a chance to survive, a chance for my children to keep dreaming.
Since the first day of the war, my family has been displaced several times , and We lost our life and our warm home in north of Gaza for too long time .
My family is experiencing their third displacement, living in difficult conditions without proper bedding or warm clothes.
My family are going through an extremely tough time, and I've lost hope in everything. I turn to this platform seeking help to save what can be saved. My family consists of 7 people.
I have nothing in this world except my family, and I work hard to take care of them. The danger is approaching, and I kindly ask for your help to secure my family living expenses during this long war.
It's challenging for us to provide the amount requested for live in normal human life as the Gaza city became the most expensive city in the world (as international news agencies reported).
We need about 2000$ to 2500$ per month to live normal human life, which includes rent, food, drinking water, medicine, shelter, hygiene, protection, etc).
We also debit for amount of 10000$ that we lost our jobs and work from the beginning of this war and also lost our savings accordingly.
In total we need 55,000 to secure our family life for upcoming months with the minimum for normal human needs.
Please, help us in this difficult time.
Hand in hand, I believe we will be able to achieve this goal Insha'Allah (God willing).
Free Palestine.

DNA PROVEN INNOCENT MAN WHOM THE VICTIM'S FAMILY BEGGED THE STATE NOT TO EXECUTE BTW. ACTUALLY EVIL
fucking murderous slavedriving bastards
Hi everyone. Mohammed Khalil (@ahmed0khalil) has asked me to share his story, and I’m writing on his behalf. Mohammed created the donation campaign for his little brother 6-year-old Ahmed, and he aims to raise funds to evacuate his family of 8. You can see in his blog how much he loves and worries for 6-year-old Ahmed. Mohammed is only 19 years old. This is not normal. He should have been in school, not begging for our attention to try and raise enough funds so that they can buy food, water, medicine, and a chance to evacuate to safety.
In Gaza, where the sounds of bombing blend with the cries of children, Mohammed and Ahmed's family experienced days they never imagined they would endure. Mohammed (19) and Ahmed (6) have four other siblings: Fathi, Aya, Anas and Abdullah. Aya (21) is a uni nursing student and Anas (15) is also a school student. Neither of them can study anymore with the current genocide. This war is especially hard on Fathi (23), who is blind and suffering from coronary artery disease, Abdullah (11) who is autistic and does not understand what is happening, and Ahmed (6), a small child who had barely started kindergarten before his education came to a halt.
The destruction that struck the area left them with no place to live. The sounds of explosions fill the horizon, and the homes that once sheltered them have become piles of rubble. They suddenly found themselves outside their home, homeless.
The bombing not only destroyed their home, but also severely injured Mohammed. Mohammed was sitting at the entrance of the school his family was sheltering in when three bombs were dropped in front of him. The bombs destroyed a residential tower in front of Mohammed. Dust filled the air and the resulting rubble and shrapnel fell on Mohammed, injuring him in the leg. Mohammed was so severely wounded that he could not walk, and he had to lie there, hurt and bleeding, for 2 hours before the Palestinian Red Crescent came and carried him to the hospital.
The bombing shattered the glass in the school Mohammed and his family was staying at, but thankfully the children sustained no serious injuries. Soon after, they were asked to evacuate the school immediately as there were news that the IOF were going to bomb the Abbas prison near it. And so even though Mohammed was wounded, he could not rest and wait for his leg to heal, but had to leave again with his family.
Now they are living in a small tent in a refugee camp. Mohammed told me that they had to bathe in polluted water and the place smelled of sewage and corpses. Camp life was difficult not only because of the scarcity of food, the infectious disease, and the polluted water, but also because of the psychological torture they endure. Looking at all the devastation, and how the world seems indifferent to their suffering, Mohammed told me that they, including young innocent 6-year-old Ahmed, had begun to lose hope for a better future.
Internet is unstable and often lacking in the refugee camp. Mohammed is using the precious time when Internet is available to tell me his story. I hope you will not turn away their calls for help. They urgently need donations to provide for shelter, food, and medicine, as well as to evacuate out of Gaza. Donations are coming in really slowly for Mohammed’s campaign, and I beg all of you, please, don't turn a blind eye to his story.
Mohammed’s campaign has been shared by 90-ghost and I’ve also been talking extensively with him. He is a very nice person and he just really wants to help his family survive. Please, please, help Mohammed evacuate himself, his 5 siblings and his parents! Little 6-year-old Ahmed does not deserve to live in fear of falling bombs every day, and neither does Mohammed and the rest of his family.
Really low funds! Only €1,185 raised of €50,000 target!!
Hello, among the hundreds of tragic stories, I am sharing my painful sto… Mohammed Khalil needs your support for Help Ahmed Khalil's family
Please share/reblog and donate to help a family of 8! These are children we are talking about, and my heart breaks for what they have to endure.
Please follow Mohammed and Ahmed on @ahmed0khalil to get updates on their situation!
Low Funds! Only €2,035 raised of €50,000 target!
I am happy to announce that we are already close to half of our goal, we have raised only €2050 out of a goal of €5000. The first goal will be to evacuate my sister Aya to complete her university education and study medicine in Egypt.
Our next focus is to raise funds to evacuate my older brother Fathi who is blind. We aim to reach our first goal within the next week and go to our next goal within this month.
I have divided the campaign into small goals to manage the process appropriately. Especially with the opening of the Rafah land crossing soon.
Your donation is not just money, it is life that returns to them after these difficult days.
Please help us by sharing the campaign and donating if you can. Every contribution brings us closer to ensuring safety and relief for my family.
Thank you again for your generosity and support!

Ahmed is trying to reach his first goal of €5000 to evacuate his sister Aya so that she can complete her uni education in Egypt! He still needs €2,457 more to evacuate Aya!
This campaign has been shared by 90-ghost, and I've also been messaging extensively with Mohammed. Please help them out, there's no safe place in Gaza right now and their lives are at risk every day.

Despite being a vampire, slayer gets pegged.
scuse me mr guilty gears but i think pegging would be the only option for slayer and his wife because being a vampire he wouldn’t have blood to get boners with can you clarify mr gear
Hello Dear Gearster (Official Term for Guilty Gear Players)! We here at Guilty Gear Official are glad that you wish to know more about the Guilty Gear Series! In contrast to some fiction, Vampires within the Guilty Gear Series have blood inside them, as seen in the story mode of Guilty Gear Revelator and Guilty Gear Rev 2. Slayer is shown to posess blood when losing his arm in the fight against Bedman. We would hereby officially like to inform you that Slayer Guilty Gear does not suffer from erectile dysfunction due to his vampirism. His erectile dysfunction is entirely unrelated to his vampirism.
Keep Gearing on Gearsters!
This is the first recorded use of the term “Gearsters”.
The term “Gearster” is used in the description of the new official sol and potemkin plushies. The official term for people who play guilty gear comes from a post about Slayer getting pegged.
HOLY SHIT??? LMFAOOO THE GEARSTERS SHIT IS OFFICIAL NOW
