Hi, stumbled across your blog and really love your art! I also saw a post were you said you don't draw eyes for religious reasons and if it's okay to ask, why is that? I have never heard of that before and it's got me very curious. Really sorry if that is a rude question! 😅

No your question isn’t rude at all🤍

Im a Muslim and different Islamic school of thoughts have different opinions on drawing living things but I follow the one where you don’t complete someone’s face because it imitates the creation of God. Usually the eyes are seen as the soul of someone or their identity, so in order to avoid drawing a living person that exists or imitate a living thing with a soul I just don’t draw the eyes.
