May 14, 2026 - Unions in Bolivia have called a general strike to demand the resignation of right-wing president Rodrigo Paz, saying: “Resign or we will kick you out – those are your options.” The president's neoliberal reforms, anti-indigenous land reforms, plans to sell of Bolivia's industries and natural resources to foreign companies, and an economc and fuel crisis are the main sources of anger. May 13, 1985: A crowd watches as a bomb dropped by Philadelphia police on the home of the MOVE family on Osage Avenue ignites and destroys two full blocks of homes and kills 11 people, including five children.

Never forget. Never forgive.

“May 13th, 1985 is more than a day of infamy, when a city waged war on its own alleged citizens, but also when the city committed massacre and did so with perfect impunity, when babies were shot and burned alive with their mothers and fathers, and the killers rewarded with honors and pensions, while politicians talked and the media mediated mass murder. On that day, the city, armed and assisted by the US government, dropped a bomb on a house and called it law. The fire department watched buildings ignite like matches in the desert and cut off water. The courts of the land turned a blind eye, daubed mud in their socket, and prosecuted Ramona Africa for having the nerve to survive an urban holocaust, jailing her for the crime of not burning to death. Eleven men, women and children died, and not one killer was even charged with a misdemeanor.

April 30, 2026 - Hezbollah FPV drones target the weak rear doors of two IDF Namer troop carriers in Bint Jbeil, Lebanon.

One of the APC's doors was even just left open by incompetent IDF soldiers, similar to how Israeli tanks kept getting blown up in Gaza by Palestinian resistance members just running up to them and throwing bombs into the open hatches. [video]

Also while we're all talking about anti-racism, here's a helpful tip:

Performative self-flagellation over being white is not a substitute for doing serious introspection about the ways you have been complicit in or rewarded by a white-supremacist society, nor doing the work to dismantle white supremacy.

A white person chiming in to a conversation about racism to say "I'm sorry for being white" or "white people suck, I say this as a white person" is just a masturbatory way to try to assuage your own feelings of shame without actually doing anything. It doesn't make you look like "one of the good ones." It makes you look like someone who centers your own feelings about it.

Antiblackness is global and sometimes I forget exactly how true that is until I see the extent to which non-Black racialized folks cross the globe are willing to do anything to launder/sweep their antiblackness under the rug instead of addressing it.

You ask genuinely and you’ll receive genuinely.

First, in pretty much every damn society the closer the proximity to darker skin, to Blackness, the worse the racism will be via colorism. Second, everyone else really, specifically, globally, hates Black people and see us individually/collectively as a resource to be exploited and Africa as a place to be used to their benefit and pillaged and destroyed.

Antiblackness because it ain’t the same as generalized umbrella racism, because it’s describing the specific ways the rest of the world wants Black folks dead, out of sight, or enslaved, no self determination, no autonomy–bodily, mentally, materially, collectively. TikTok and YouTube algorithms specifically suppress Black creators more than anyone but the darker your skin get, the more you get gone. Shit, don’t think it’s a new thing—over a decade ago Facebook algorithms changed a generation of online Black folks language/speech patterns because if they knew you was Black you could get banned for saying the word “white” in any sense but positively. So we started calling whites yt, and when they caught on to that, we got more creative and used 6f/#ffffff, Mayosapian, yakubian devil, and so so many more.

The ways we are hated ain’t unique to the US, although the US does fuckin love to hate us. It ain’t limited to countries we were or are enslaved in neither. Someone from non-African “third world”, global south, global majority just as likely to hate anyone they see as Black the same because to them, we ain’t people, a people, worthy of acknowledgement, justice, care, humanity.

So yeag antiblackness SPECIFICALLY is fucking global.

May 6, 2021 - Mapuche separatists torched logging trucks in occupied Wallmapu. [video]

In the Mapuche territory, in the south of Chile, a beautiful coordinated attack conducted in full day made great noise on Thursday, May 6, 2021 in the region of Araucanía. It is nothing less than eight incendiary attacks in less than 6 hours, from noon to 6 pm, against no less than 26 machines of all types (trucks, carriers, skidders) of the forest industry, which destroys and operates the forests of the territory, and is the subject of a fierce opposition by certain Mapuche groups.

In the midst of the cries of various state stooges who are now asking to reinstate the state of siege in the region or to involve the army to protect the loggers-in particular because a cop who came to stop the attacks took a shot in his bulletproof vest-, this attack was claimed by the RESISTENCIA WEICHAN AUKA MAPU (WAP) group, which left a message on one of the eight sites taken for target:

“Freedom For Mapuche political prisoners and those of revolt. Down with the forest industry, gravel industry, landlords, hydroelectric dams. Down with the Yanaconas. Marichiweu.” This last word, a well-known battle cry in Chile, means in Mapuche “ten and a thousand times we will defeat them”. Yanaconas is a pejorative term that refers to the “traitors”, or the Mapuche working for the forest industry.

On April 29, the U.S. Supreme Court gave state legislatures a green light to break up Black and Native voting districts — an attack on Black self-determination, Native sovereignty and basic democratic rights. The 6-3 ruling in Louisiana v. Callais gutted what remained of Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

This is not the first time Black democratic rights have been traded away in a ruling-class crisis.

In the Compromise of 1877, Northern capital and the Southern ruling class struck a counter-revolutionary deal that ended Reconstruction. Control of the South was returned to the old slaveholding order and its successors — the planters, merchants, politicians and railroad magnates who ruled the “redeemed” South.

In practice, “home rule” meant white-supremacist rule over the Black masses of the South, enforced by a reign of terror.
