“Well if there’s a next time.” He said quietly as he watched the smile spread across her lips. It was making warmth spread through his chest to know that he had been responsible for that smile. “I’ll let you make that decision when it comes to it because there’s something really special about a spontaneous kiss.” He whispered then looked toward his dog. “He’s clueless, ain’t he?” Danny chuckled as he looked at the dog a few metres away. He was just sat, his ears twitching a little while his tongue hung from his mouth. He looked pretty content. Then he turned to her and furrowed his eyebrows a little. “Dinner?” He began before giving her cheek one last touch with his thumb. “It’s on me.”
“Special suites us, doesn’t it,” Andi mused in response, as she felt her stomach flutter nervously. Sure her nerves weren’t nearly so bad around Danny but they were still there and talking about what made her nervous didn’t help. “Come here, Arbor,” she murmured, meaning to pull back once the dog had reached them. Before she could Danny was offering dinner and making her shiver once more. “That sounds great to me,” she agreed, finally pulling back just enough to reach out a hand and pet the once again trembling with excitement Arbor.
