She could do quiet. Nodding to him, zipping her lips, Natalie slipped nimbly through the window and landed silently below, quite pleased with her own performance. Ballerinas, she reminded herself, did not clomp around like elephants. They landed like dandelion fluff, or whatever asinine metaphor her instructor could come up with on that particular day.
Keeping still, Natalie waited for the Nightwatcher to join her, pondering not for the first time whether or not an invisibility spell would be worth the drain on her strength. Keeping a spell like that up for long periods of time was taxing, and the last thing she needed was to collapse and have it fail in a dangerous place.
There was no point in wondering that now, though, she supposed - they were already in the thick of it, and casting would draw some sort of attention if the others were already here.
What would they do if they were? She could handle herself to some extent, with hexes and curses and a few well placed fire balls, but did they really want to piss them off that badly? She wasn’t sure if she could handle the backlash to that. If she were alone, sure, but now that she had Wynn living with her…
Her hands curled and uncurled into fists at her side, a nervous energy running through her. If it came down to it, a decision of Wynn’s safety over whatever morals Leo had left… well. She knew what her choice would be. No one was going to leave this warehouse with the ability to identify that it had been her here with the Nightwatcher.
He watched Nat enter the window, and he was pleased to notice that her landing was silent. Good--granted, it wasn't like they'd be able to hear a faint landing, the thugs would likely be speaking amongst themselves about their schemes for the night. Humans never did focus too much on their surroundings unless they were trained to, or if the noise was loud enough.
His hands brought his shuko claws from his belt, slipping them over his gloves as he entered. Unlike Natalie, he didn't have the luxury of silent landings while dressed up; the boots and increased weight from the manriki-gusari both only helped when he wanted to kick someone from above, if the situation had to involve jumping at all.
Slipping inside, Leo briefly paused to silently close the window before making his way down, the claws embedding into the walls just right to keep him propped up. Still, he did allow himself to land when he was a couple of feet from the ground, the faint plods of his boots landing an improvement from the possible thuds he would've made otherwise.
"So far, so good." His words were barely a whisper, even as he joined her. "If they beat us here, they should be talking, so it'll give us enough time to listen in. I'll take them out if any fighting needs to be involved..."
