The anger I feel for this women is unreal. How can you be told that you need to give your time to someone else. What happened to free will? What happened to your rights?
Car seat moms:
You know the feeling, suddenly your kid needs 8.5 things as soon as you’re backing up out of the driveway. Their cup but the straws not sucking. A fruit bar but don’t open it but they can’t open it but then you didn’t open the right side. A toy they purposely threw on the floor after you opened their snack wrong. There’s tears, arguing with their sister, trying to annoy their sibling with any body part that’ll reach and that dreaded toddler Superman back arch that you know oh too well. The wrappers, crumbs, and tiny sneakers piling on the floor mats and that red light arm stretch to reach whatever is causing the meltdown. Most days, it’s triggering, stressful and some days you avoid the car at all costs. But then theres days when they sing together and giggle together or it’s peaceful while they chat together. But someday, it will be silent. You’ll try to cover the loudest silence with music. It won’t be the same. Next time enjoy the bickering and “mama why’s” because someday you won’t have them anymore. Enjoy all the times with them.
it’s me!
It’s hard to be right when you’re always wrong. It’s hard be heard when you’re never understood. Going to bed angry usually helps to be forgotten. But do we really want to be forgotten? Or just acknowledged and maybe apologized?

she comes in to the coffee shop every now and again but never orders coffee.
i picked a great day to wear glasses. The sun is blinding but I'll take squinting over cloudy days
I've got sand in all the wrong places, rosy cheeks, salty skin and I couldn't be happier
Things I've learned when buying a house for the first time: There are going to be arguments. Work through them. Compromising is key. There is a ton of money about to be spent. Don't get nervous. Just keeping making waves.
Evenings on the lake
there’s a lot of good things in this life, but if you asked me to put my money on it? a baby napping in your arms who stirs, looks deep into your eyes, and then peacefully falls back to sleep is one of the very, very best.
there is beauty in the mundane. life doesn't have to be constantly adventurous and excting to be fun or worth living. there's beauty in spending a saturday baking cookies and reading a good book. there's beauty in taking a hot shower after a hard day. there's beauty in ordering pizza and watching a movie with your best friend. these things are just as worthwhile as travelling the world or skydiving. you're allowed to appreciate small joy, as well as big joy. you'll be happier for it.

“You looked so wild in that ripped dress Perfect skin, hair a mess I would’ve given anything to tell you That I would give everything to know you But you can’t see me This storm inside It breaks me to pieces It drowns me alive I’m not sentimental But that look in your eyes It’s seared in my memory It’s ingrained in my mind”
