It’s okay if you don’t have the best singing voice, or if you are a beginner in art, or if you don’t have expensive things to do what you love. If it makes you happy, then it doesn’t matter if you’re singing offkey into a hairbrush at 1am, or if someone is better at art then you are. Do whatever fulfills your happiness, and if someone tries to stop you, don’t be discouraged. You can be whoever you want to be, paint whatever you imagine, sing any song your heart desires. KEEP ON DOING what makes you happy, and never stop.
keep being you. somebody is gonna feel it.
Feel your emotions, no matter how heavy or dark they may seem. The only way to free yourself is to let them flow through you.
You deserve to be treated well
I love ppl with beautiful energy, the type that instantly put u in a better mood just by being around them
understanding yourself is power.
[Day 4-7/100]
SuPER SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING GUYS! It’s been a wild week, with deadlines and report cards. I’ve also been able to stay on track with most all my homework although I’m still behind in math despite working on it all day during the ice day this week... Chemistry has been going pretty well, redox reactions make sense for the most part :/ History is still easy breezy sailing (I really hope it stays like this). English we have two assessments coming up but they should be fine.
Though I am facing a dilemma regarding the presentation, my friend had a great idea for our presentation and it would require for both of us to come out,, and I’m okay with it but I want to be able to tell my friends first? You know? But every time I try to I just kind of panic and end up not doing it or there are people I don’t want to tell around and I don’t wanna just go like ‘hey I need to talk to you leave your other friends’, cuz like that’s mean? But yes advice would be appreciated v much.
Hopefully I keep this up and hopefully y’all are doing okay :)
[Day 3/100]
Today was productive but not in the same way as yesterday.
I did finish some of my math homework, although I think it’s humanly impossible to finish everything we got, and I reviewed chemistry. My main productivity was in
cleaning my room and
working out so much my legs are shaking
I may not have done as much school work, but overall I think today was a good day to work on improving myself.
Remember to not drain yourself out, if you need a break take it, it won’t be the end of the world. Recovery, mental, physical or even spiritual is important. Take a day to re-energize, do something that makes you happy, reward yourself and always remember:
YOU GOT THIS 🧡
tips for public speaking
take a deep breath
it’ll be over before you know it
pretend like you’re obama (it’ll help you talk slower)
stand up straight
in a class setting, people don’t typically pay attention anyways so it’s not like your classmates are watching your every move. they don’t care.
don’t lock your knees
bring up a note card with important topics or quotes
make eye contact if you can
or look at people’s hair. it’ll make it seem like you’re making eye contact, but it’ll be less awkward
don’t memorize your entire speech. instead, memorize a couple bullet points of topics you need to hit
project your voice as if you’re speaking to someone sitting in the back of the room
talk with your hands to help you feel more warm and welcoming
don’t put your hands in your pockets
walk around a bit, but let it come organically. don’t force it.
don’t bounce one leg the whole time, it’s distracting
spit out your gum
smile
don’t eat a big meal prior
if you have to present for a certain number of minutes, have a friend sit in the back of the room and hold up finger signs for how many minutes you’ve been up there
don’t wear loud jewelry
practice your presentation/speech to a friend or family member who is unfamiliar with the material. if they don’t understand your presentation or don’t follow, you need to be more detailed
stick to the built-in themes on power point. yes, colors are pretty, but some color combos can be hard to read, and you won’t know it until it’s up on a big screen/projector.
put pictures in your power point. they’re more entertaining to look at than a paragraph of text.
speak with formal language. stay away from curse words and slang.
remember that everyone in your class is going through the same stress.
if you absolutely cannot handle the idea of public speaking, talk to your teacher and see if it’s okay for you to do your presentation after class.
it’ll be okay.
you got this.
[day 2/100]
Today was much more productive than I could have ever imagined :)
Today I managed to get done:
ALL my math homework which had me begging for death the entire time firstly, because I hate math, secondly, because there was so much??
Some redox reaction practice questions
Read the assigned textbook chapters for Mao’s consolidation
Finalize activities for our upcoming French conference
Refine my research project for history class
Hopefully, I keep this up :)

Everyone who reblogs this will get the title of a book to read based on their bio/posts.
Everyone. I mean it.
THIS IS THE BEST POST
I HAVE EVER SEEN
EVER
they really do mean everyone
UPDATE: Yup I got the thing
PLEEEEASE work
Holy crap this has over a million notes, dang dude
Day 1
I’ve decided to take up the 100 days of productivity to keep up with posting on this blog and try to stop procrastinating :)
So far today I’ve written notes on the new textbook we got in history class,, my friend and I decided to split up the chapters so we can cover as much ground as possible while maximizing our time.
I recommend this especially for large textbooks you need to read. I would say to try to read the whole book, but notes wise : divide and conquer. That way if you forget something you can rely on the notes to jog your memory :)
Hope y’all have a great day!

Exam season is upon us
And it can be easy to get swept up and filled with anxiety. Remember that these exams will pass and everything will work out in the end, as cheesy as that sounds.
Remember not to burn yourself out. My friend made a lovely schedule for me to study for my Paper 1 Chem exam on Monday. It’s as follows:
- Spend Friday reviewing a unit you like, do other course work, relax
- Saturday workworkwork, review, do math, whatever you NEEDA do to feel comfortable
- Sunday, a chill day, review units you’re still not 100% on, but don’t burn yourself out the night before your exam, be well rested
And can I say what a blessing?? She’s lovely and great at chemistry so I tend to follow her advice for things like this.
BUT
Remember that not all study methods work for everyone,, my friend made this full well knowing what kind of learner I am and how much I value sleep. Create notes that help you, they don’t have to be pretty, they can be simple.
My best study notes I made were just a series of cue cards to study for the hell called Stalin Week at our school, and since then I try to use that note taking method.
With a new semester around the corner, take time to understand how you learn best and implement it :)
Feel free to message me if you need to talk <3

here are my tips for staying focused while studying:
- study in a quiet corner, all by yourself. make this quiet corner your study space with all your books and study materials easily accessible.
- prepare all your materials before you start studying. if you start studying without making sure everything you need is at hand, you’ll get sidetracked and have to stop studying just to grab the book you forgot to prepare.
- remove potential distractions. shut down your phone, turn off the TV, switch the radio off and just keep anything that keeps distracting you far from where you’re studying. this way you’ll be able to maintain your focus.
- get enough sleep. believe it or not, getting enough sleep can improve your concentration in class. take naps if you have to/
- study your way! bored of the usual summarise and jot down technique? study using your own style, be it mind-mapping, doodling, whichever suits you! as long as you enjoy it! studying can be fun when you personalise your study style! i personally enjoy doodling when i write down my notes. it helps me remember the info i learn more effectively.
- play music. i find that music helps me concentrate better when i do math, but it really disturbs me when i’m studying history. i always listen to my own spotify playlist of instrumental cover songs.
that’s all for my tips! hope it helps!

tips for class
1. turn off your phone and leave it in your locker/back. sometimes, lectures get really boring, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try to pay attention! seeing your phone will make you feel distracted. hiding it will help you concentrate more in general
2. raise your hand. be that kid. there’s nothing wrong with it. they’re just jealous you actually know the answers ♥️ raising your hand will make your teacher be more lenient with you. it works on the most intimidating teacher too
3. take notes. don’t worry if they’re messy. you can rewrite them when you get home. I recommend having a messy notebook for in-class notes and a neat one for the notes rewritten if you have time. it’s a sort of a learning method too. writing it once is equal to reading it 7 times
4. listen. listen. listen. listen! listen!! listen!!! I can’t stress this enough!!!!!
5. never cheat. what you remember from the material is way more important than a grade. this way you’ll never learn from your mistakes

「Quick tip: There are countless distractions around you, even when it doesn’t seem obvious. You won’t be able to eradicate all of them, and that’s where practicing self-control is important. 」
