Amazing book- a guide to be the best version of yourself
Book: 11 rules for life
Author: Chetan Bhagat
He shamelessly hurt her , she shamelessly walked away. âš
So, he put his glass down and asked âWhat did you learn from your last love?â She hesitated, âumm why youâre bringing that up?â âWhy not, we need to know get to know each otherâ. She said as she gulped her throat,
âNever set high hopes with someone. People change with time and we have to accept it. Never assume things, make it clear before you jump into conclusions. And donât stop growing.â He nodded. She leaned forward, as she played with her glass, âNowâŠwhat did you learn?â
âTo never love deeply and focus only on your goals.â He finished his wine, âdo you need anything more?â
Her heart sank down âno nothingâ âOkayâ he called the waiter and asked for the bill. She couldnât grasp what happened that night. âLove deeply?â He hugged her goodbye and left for the night.
She stayed in her house sitting on her bed, teary eyed. âHe wonât love deeply? Then what do I do?â She suddenly got anxious as thought to herself, âam I falling into another trap?â
I mistakenly drove into a tunnel
Pitch dark and I canât find my way out
Been touching the walls & getting hurt by the thorns that grew there
If only I get a little light I can find my way out.
So itâs gonna be forever or itâs gonna go down in flames?
In the heart of the monsoonâs embrace so tight,
Thunder and Sunshine met, a stunning sight.
He, a tempest with clouds, dark and brooding,
Growling with anger, his fury was intruding.
She, a lively sky, her beauty pure and rare,
Silently bidding adieu with grace in the air.
He longed to linger, but she couldnât concede,
Their union of elements, a union theyâd need.
He brought forth lightning, a dazzling display,
While she radiated rays to light up their day.
Together they sought to shape the world anew,
A dance of opposites, the old and the true.
With ruthless thunder, he tested her grace,
Yet a gentle breeze swept in, a smile on her face.
He showed her darkness, she showed him the kind.
As the thunder, with time, turned to a pure white cloud,
Merging with the blue skies, a harmonious sight.
The atmosphere shifted, gentler it became,
And now the joyful ivory cloud shared his storms without blame.
In the final act, the thunderstorm did wane,
But its testing of her rays caused her pain.
She turned to midnight, her radiance subdued,
In the quiet darkness, her sorrow imbued.
And thus, the tale unfolds, as we're told,
The thunder transformed, the sunshine turned cold,
In the end, the joyful thunder found its way,
While the bright sunshine faded to midnight's array.
And that's the tale, where thunder found its shroud,
As sunshine dimmed, her radiance now a shroud,
Though once she blazed with golden, vibrant hue,
Now in midnight's embrace, her light withdrew.
They tell you to get out of the shell youâre hiding
Comfortable you, come out and show yourself
And they silence you.
And oh poor her, goes back to the shell,
Hiding more than she would before.

Lesson 2- Loyalty
Lesson 3- Distinguishing love and lust
Lesson 4- Relationships
Lesson 5- Friendship
And most important,
Lesson 6- Independence

I think I'm going to write a book :P
Yes young lady, Iâve learnt it :)
Years ago, I wrote a poem on âescaping from a monster that is hiding in the woodsâ it was based on the concept of âescapismâ.
They say never escape from any situation and face it head on and you will be free. Here I am, still unable to figure out what am I really escaping from?
Studies? No.
Failure? No.
Nightmares? People? Love? Rejection?
unable to figure it, still trying to live in the present.
Can someone tell me why emotionally unavailable guys hot? đ
Instagram is no more the fun loving app we could spend some good time. Itâs become a place of brainwashing young minds into thinking what is cool and what is not. Sadly, living without it is more relaxing than being flooded with toxicity.
âBro, love is when you make someone happy even when youâre not. It doesnât sound toxic right?â
âWhen youâre not content with yourself and repeatedly get hurt because of them. That is toxic not loveâ
I love jokes, but donât bring in shit.
Iâm no trash bag :)
