I’ve officially progressed to a level of trust within my organization to be allowed phone privileges! I didn’t think it’d be this entertaining. Though, the all ‘parental’ controls do make me feel like a troublesome teenager with stringent parents… Chris, ahem…

I’ve heard a few things about this app and have decided to try it out. I hope to enjoy myself ;)

i’ll be honest I don’t rlly know how many other resident evil roleplay blogs are on here but i love my RE oc so i wanna give him some love 🙏

i have a few lore posts on my main blog ( @aleckami ), but the gist is that he was one of mother miranda’s subjects, and one of her first successful experiments. he’s been her ‘assistant’ of sorts for a very long time, but not exactly by choice. he escaped before the village was destroyed, and survived until he was found by the BSAA a few years later. his body and life is a ticking time bomb, and he probably could keel over and die anyday due to the source of the megamycete being destroyed. but until that day comes, he’ll play nice!

Andrei was making his way back to his home from the village, stepping through the deep snow and forest. He carried a wicker basket covered with a cloth, filled with gifts and treats from one of the many elderly villagers.

He paused his walking upon hearing a noise coming from the woods next to him. He looked over and saw her, the Fata Fantomă. He’d seen her lurking around before, but only ever quick glimpses, as she always seemed to duck out of sight once she realized he’d noticed her. Though this time around, she didn’t seem to have seen him first. Andrei decided to take this chance to finally speak with her.

“Hello!” He warmly greeted, waving his free hand.

So sorry I didn't see this sooner my gosh.

Lost in the recesses of her mind as she usually is this time of day, Miss Kirn is suddenly startled out of her daydreaming when she hears a voice very close by. She quickly glances up at the one who just caught her attention- a young man with fluffy black hair, carrying a basket full of goods. A stranger, with more energy to him than anyone else she's met in this place thus far (besides her run-in with the Dimitrescu daughters). She'll admit she's noticed him a couple times before, but has been too shy to say hello. But this time she can't pretend she wasn't seen.

"-Oh hello," she says as she raises her hand in a slight wave as well. The small awkward smile on Julie's face makes it clear she's embarrassed of how she's avoided him before. Nevertheless, she decides to make an attempt at small talk despite the fact that there isn't really much to make light of between two strangers in a village full of death. It's worth a try anyways!

"What do you have there? Shopping spree at the Emporium?"

He paused for a moment, not having expected to get a response. He snapped out of his surprise quickly, though.

“No, just some gifts from the villagers,” His slavic accent dripped off his words, “Mainly pastries and such.”

Now it was Julie's turn to pause. A combination of bitterness and pity passes over her wind-whipped features in a flash and she nods slowly, politely. She thinks to herself that it's just crazy how the villagers would give this person so many lovely treats when most of them barely have a coat on their own backs. Their blind kindness...

"I see. You must be special around here." She says, a statement instead of a question. Her own accent is pretty muted: years of staying in America have worn away most of her German, and now she barely speaks to anyone. That's why it's actually nice to meet someone that doesn't seem to be too terrified to hold a thought.

He noticed the slight change in her disposition and let out a quiet, almost nervous chuckle. “I suppose ‘special’ is a good way to put it. I run, er… service at their church.”

He knew he wasn’t exactly making a great case for himself, but he thought honesty would make a better impression rather than lying about his status or pretending he didn’t have some sort of privilege.

"The church," she replies, her eyes lighting up at the word. The stranger's terrible lying doesn't even bother her. "The one in the graveyard? I love that little church. I go there all the time. Not to.. well. It's a neat hiding spot, isn't it."

Julie was about to let it slip that she doesn't ever go there to pray- only to study the portraits of the supposed "deities" with immense curiosity and a kind of longing she's never felt for anyone or anything else. A longing to understand, mostly. But that's a whole other conversation.

But there's no way for her to know if this person serves under Miranda or not, so she keeps her beliefs private for now and just changes the subject. "It's nice to meet you by the way. I don't think I caught your name."

“Ah, you’re right. Apologies for my poor manners. My name is Andrei, its nice to meet you as well.”

He bowed his head slightly as he spoke, before looking back up at her. Andrei had a feeling she was keeping the finer details close to her chest, but he didn’t press her.

“…And you?”

Someone actually cares to know her name? That's new here. She feels a prick of anxiety in the back of her mind at the thought of telling this stranger but quickly shoos it away. It's only a first name. But in her other life she seemed to have everyone know everything, so it's just been nice to have a veil of anonymity.

"My name is Julie." She holds her hands clasped in front of her coat to preserve warmth, satchel slung over her shoulder full of goods raided from abandoned houses. "I happened to be on my way home. Just.. passing by."

“Julie,” He quietly repeated to himself, “…Well, it was very nice to meet you, Julie. Its great to have confirmation that you aren’t actually a ghost.”

He chuckled softly before glancing down at the basket of gifts in his hands for a moment. Andrei knew that he wouldn’t be eating what the villagers had given him, or at least not all of it. For him, it would be an empty, tasteless way to pass the time. He thought for a second, before looking back up at Julie.

“…Before you head back on your way, would you like some of what the villagers gave me? I surely won’t be able to finish all of these by myself before they go bad, so…” He gestured to the basket with his free hand.

"Really! Well.. thank you." She says with a small smile, clearly surprised that a stranger she's been avoiding quite rudely would extend a kindness like that. A brief flicker of suspicion strikes her, but she shrugs it off. What is he gonna do, offer her poisoned tea cakes?

Julie takes one step closer and reaches into the woven basket to pick out a loaf of stollen. Her eyes sparkle with an almost childlike wonder; she hasn't seen one of those in a long, long time. The loaf stares right back at her in its transparent saran wrapping with so many memories of her life in her home country. Before everything was turned upside down and sideways.

".. I'll take this one." She mutters, hastily tucking the treat into her satchel. Where on earth did he find these things? Now she has a lot more questions about where this stranger Andrei has been.

(Stollen is a German Christmas bread with marzipan and raisins and powdered sugar ^^)

Andrei tilted his head to the side ever so slightly as he asked the question, pitch-black irises looking back at Julie. He couldn’t help but wonder when the last time she ever had something sweet was. He enjoyed being able to make someone somewhat happier, even if it was something as simple as giving a loaf of bread.

Andrei stepped through the front gate of House Beneviento, the snow crunching beneath his feet. He had just finished service an hour or so ago, and decided to give Donna a visit. The cold air bit at his skin slightly, and he tucked himself closer to the warmth of his coat’s fur-lined hood. It had been snowing almost non-stop throughout the village since that morning.

He made his way up the steps to the front of the house, knocking on the door with a familiar rhythm. He then waited for someone to open the door, listening to the sound of the nearby waterfall crashing against rock.

Donna, unfortunately, did not answer the door. Instead, Angie's expressionless face hovered about three feet off the ground as the door cracked open. As soon as she spotted Andrei, however, she flung it wide open and squealed in joy.

"ANDREII! What! A! Surprise! What are youuu doin' here, huh, huh?"

Scrambling forwards, she yanked Andrei forwards, her grip surprisingly strong for such a little doll. The door slammed behind him, and Angie giggled once more.

"DONNNNAAAA! Your little visitoooorrr is hereeee!"

Turning to Andrei, she elbowed his leg a little.

"She's been real mopey lately. It'll take her a second. Hehe."

“I see,” He said with a soft smile, flipping his hood off. “Well, we needn’t rush her, then.”

He wiped his feet on the rug at the door so as not to track any snow or dirt into the house.
