If TMNT III could hire a bunch of Asian actors, what excuse do modern movies have? I'm looking your way Ghost in the Shell.
Second cover so far.
Cover I did for a friend's Xmas present
this is an eternal wip...I should really try to finish it of these days
Saitama kind of looks like he's looking at Freakazoids hair in the pic I drew. Makes sense, he's jealous.
Do fgc people actually believe that fighting games are only fun if they are to hard for casuals to play?
“the fgc” doesn’t believe or agree on anything, can’t stop fightin
there are idiots in most communities though
“ to hard for casuals to play? “ That’s kind of your fault. Go practice, and quit complaining.
you might have read that bit a little to hard, and I may have worded that to aggressively.
I’m not complaining about games being too hard, I’m talking about fgc guys who complain when games are “too easy.”
That's where the idea of a learning curve comes in to play. IMO guilty gear does a pretty good job of having easy shit (chains etc) that leads to hard shit. The only hard part about that game is finding other people at your level. So basically I feel that if you can consistently learn things as you play and get better at a halfway decent pace, that makes the game more interesting.
There's some good things to be said about "simple" games however, at face value Smash seems pretty basic, just two attack buttons and a guard button, but there is still a learning curve concerning the more advanced techniques and movement/positioning. But then look at something like Divekick, the idea was novel, the controls simple, but perhaps a little too basic in its meta so it's popularity has waned.
