Day 2 (Evening)

Got home from work.

Listening to my friend talk about his plans for the holidays, plans to modify Gamecube controllers for students at the college we used to attend... he kept my mind busy.

As soon as he left to see his girlfriend in a different part of the state, I felt empty.

Am I that attached to being around people, I don't know how to enjoy my own company?

I tried to play Voez touch screen on the Nintendo Switch. Pissed me off; the console kept moving when I tried to use the swipe inputs.

Wrote this post from my bed using the tumblr app. I have to say, it's decent enough. Better than writing on Blogger.

Day 1 (Evening)

My mind is honestly poisoned with doing things for “clout” and “popularity”.

Twitch streaming? Invest too much money into visual assets for my online branding, only for the files to collect dust months later when my dopamine-addicted brain doesn’t want to put in the effort to stream.

Playing a video game? Unless I happen to be the top percentage player while putting in minimum hours into the game, I don’t want to play it. Nuh-uh, not for me apparently! Goddamn I can’t even play Animal Crossing without wondering if my island or house design will go viral on Twitter.

Even just listening to a song or album, I want to skip onto a different song if the beat and vibes don’t immediately iNsPirE me.

Like c’mon me, don’t let this capitalism-driven society subtly dictate what you do with your time. Learn to do things for your own satisfaction. Not everything has to be content designed to go viral on social media or to make myself richer

Sheeeesh.

Anyways, shoutouts to btssmash for hosting the Mainstage 2021 streams. Top tier gameplay on both Smash Ultimate and Melee to put up on the background while setting up this blog.
