my takeaway three episodes into the new Ghost in the Shell
Why are so many ppl coming for Lupita, who was barely in the trailer, when Spider man is there having the most bland delivery.....
I don't trust Qifrey because he wanted to erase that girl's memories with the quickness until he realized he could use her.
Stupidest cdrama this year - a hater poll
Rebirth - story that moves as organically as Zhang Kangle’s face
Seeds of Scarlet Longing - lady rapists steal men’s seed and audience brains
A Splendid Match - daycare intrigue with main OTP cameoing
Ashes to Crown - more like passion for clowns
Unveil Jadewind - mystery that makes as much sense as that title
Shine On Me - please don’t
Dazzling - we got Lighter and Princess at home
Something else I will horrify you with in comments
I have so cleverly avoided all of these except Ashes to Crown, which is very stupid so that's my vote
(I'm still baffled by the Seeds of Scarlet Longing ladies needing to resort to kidnapping and rape, like can't you just invite some men over for free sex? I feel like that would work?)
Xieofeng could only get freedom by killing herself. Fuck you Li Chengyin.
Gu Jian died on his own terms for his own beliefs, saving A'du and being the hero he always wanted to be T_T Goodbye Shifu
omg these quiet quitting kings <3
The scene where he is forcibly carrying her to the bedroom is quite haunting.
Yeah, tell him!
T____T
Lmao Gu Jian really did run away with the princess. But a little too late now....
Poor A'du stuck in between this love triangle.
Um, spoiler alert.
Old her literally stabbed him. I'm just saying.
I'm on episode 43 of Goodbye My Princess and here are some thoughts:
-this show turning into a basic palace drama after episode 13 or whatever is rather disappointing.
-considering Gu Jian was her first love before her memory wipe, I actually think he should've seized the moment and got her to fall in love with him but with him actually being more proactive about it! Do have her actually run away with him at some point! With Pei Zhao helping them hehehoho.
- her somehow having feelings for the guy who wiped out her people, including her grandpa, just doesn't make sense especially since Chengyin is mean to her. Like how would she ever forgive let alone forget this? They don't really do anything here to show any affection growing other than playing fun zany music during their arguments..... Like, ok? She originally fell in love with him because he was nice and listened to her. Now he's mean. She's just gonna have affection for the guy who killed her Grandpa because.... why not!?! I guess?! She doesn't even get to have any complicated feelings or anything. Ahhhhh!
-everyone focusing on the princess having a hard time because of the danchi ppl being wiped out while A'du is right there who also lost her fkn awesome brother. A'du is wasted as a character and I'm so mad about it.
- I would've liked it more if the empress actually did see Chengyin as her son that she would do anything for even when she's aware of him going against her. You can make her evil but still have some heart like c'mon now. This would make her way more complicated too instead of just doing what the plot needs her to do. The actress is killing it though.
- the emperor is lame af. He hates the Gao family while letting them do whatever they want. Sure.
I have a feeling the ending is not gonna destroy me like I've seen many a people talk about. I will say the first 13 episodes were the best part and I definitely had to take a few days break after it concluded. But what the show is now is kind of.....meh. The songs are fire though. And Gu Jian's hair is better but then Chengyin's hair is worse.
I've been in love with her makeup since I first saw her. What a queen indeed!
Why does she have a prison tattoo. Did she kill someone?
Her brother did!
