C- Comfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?
If you’re feeling down, Shifu is by your side for the whole day until you feel better. He’ll do everything and anything that you want to do, no matter what. If you’re having a panic attack he goes into protective mode and won’t leave your side. He rubs circles on your back and tries to calm you down. He’ll constantly reassure you that he’s here and to focus on your breathing. Tries to identify what triggered the attack and either remove it or you from the situation.
H- Honesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?
Not really. He values trust above all else so he won’t hide anything personal from you. But there are a lot of things that he just doesn’t like talking about, for example Shi-na, but he doesn’t keep them a secret from you. He feels like it’s better for you to just know.
L- Love Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?
Goes with his gut. He doesn’t really make some over the top gesture to win you over. It’s more or less just a straightforward confession. He just comes up to you, asks you out to dinner and leaves it at that. Doesn’t really see a need for a grand confession.
U- Understanding - How good do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?
Very well. He’s good at reading your body language and words and reacting accordingly. He’s very empathetic towards you, and basically you only. He will always do his best to comfort you whenever you’re down or try and talk through your emotions with you.
Y- Yearning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?
Lang travels a lot for his job so he’s always missing you! He tries to call you every night whenever he’s away, but that can only do so much! He’s a huge sucker for physical affection so he really misses your hugs and kisses~ Does his best to just stay focused on his job and get it done quick enough so he can get home sooner to see you.

Shifu at home is very laid back, using the little time that he does have off to relax and spend time with you.
He gets kinda clingy at home because he doesn’t often get to see you considering he’s traveling a lot for Interpol.
So he constantly wants to be near you or holding you in some way.
Forces you to cuddle with him! He’ll hold you tightly so you can’t leave, too.
Tends to shower you with affection when cuddling, too! Tons of kisses and touches as you just enjoy each other’s company.
Plus when you get all flustered and shy when being affectionate with him he just can’t help but fall deeper in love with you.
Enjoys cooking with you! He’s not the best at it but he still enjoys doing it with you nonetheless.
Takes this time to recreate dishes that he learns about when abroad to share them with you!
He thinks that the food that you two make together taste better than food from any restaurant in the world.
He’s very orderly and likes to keep things neat! So he doesn’t mind cleaning the house when he’s at home. He likes the feeling of a nice clean home.

Shifu, at first, was really unsure of his own abilities as a father and really didn’t think he was fit to be a dad.
But with a little persuasion from you he soon started to feel much more confident about himself!
His dad was one of the most important figures in his life, so he’d like to be the same kind of person for his children.
Parenting comes very naturally to him.
He doesn’t really know why or how but he’s mostly just relied on his instincts as he has with the majority of his life.
And it works out for him.
He’s not necessarily a very strict parent but he does set some rules and boundaries that he wants his kids to respect. All with their safety in mind.
Shifu’s dealt with a lot of stuff in his life and he is deathly afraid of losing any member of his family.

He’s fiercely protective of them and would absolutely lose his mind if something happened to them. He always tries to make sure his kids know what to do if they’re in danger, who to call if they get in trouble, etc.
Always has one eye on them. He’s the kind of parent to know what you’re going to do before you go and do it.
He tries to cut back on jobs that take him out of the country so he can be home more often. He doesn’t want to be completely missing from his kids’ lives, especially in the beginning.
Family!!! Trips!!!
He plans these really big trips and always makes sure to plan one every summer.
He always comes up with a new place to go every year, but after a while he can’t deny his kids’ wishes to go to Disney like every single year.
Likes to talk to his kids a lot about Zheng Fa, especially if you don’t live there.
There are some customs and such that he wishes to carry on so he tries to make sure his children know about them.
Would, without a doubt, drop everything if his kids needed something.
He’s in a different country for a trip but his kids miss him? He’ll be back tomorrow.

Shifu always has busy days. In fact, he’d consider it odd if his schedule wasn’t packed from the second he clocked into the second he left for the day.
He always tries his hardest to work less for not only his sake but your sake as well. His job is rather taxing and causes him to work weird hours that take up the precious time he could be spending with you. And believe me, he’d much rather be at home than at work.
The entire week had been rough for him. Not only was seemingly every little thing going wrong, but he was also forced to stay longer to clean up after his subordinate’s messes.
And he misses you desperately because of it. Nearly every day that he had come home you had already eaten and got into bed. He was furious.
For once he just wanted to come home, eat dinner with you, and then curl up next to you for the night. But alas, his job seemed to hate him this week and not once was he able to do this.
Friday rolled around and he was intent on leaving early. No accident was going to keep him any longer than he needed today.
When the clock finally hit the hour in which he was allowed to leave he practically rushed out of the building. He was free; free from his job and free to come home to your loving embrace.
His drive home seemed even longer than the day itself. Partly because of the immense amount of anticipation he had for getting home, and partly because traffic was not on his side.
However, he eventually made it home, stress washing away as he entered and closed the door to your shared home.
An all too familiar savory aroma overwhelmed his senses as he walked towards the kitchen. When he entered, he saw you hovering above a pot with a few other pans here and there on the stove.
You were cooking, but just any other dish. The recipe that you were making was one of his favorites when he was a child.
His heart melted.
It didn’t take you long to notice your boyfriend standing in the doorframe of the kitchen. An excited smile appeared on your face as you skipped over to him, wrapping your arms around him when you were close enough.
He quickly returned the hug and buried his face in your shoulder. A content sigh escaped his lips as he relished in your embrace.
Just seeing you making something so nostalgic for him, especially after the week he’s been having, makes him fall even harder in love with you (if that was even possible).
He peppers your face with a bunch of small kisses on your face. But before he can properly thank you for the meal you’re pushing him towards your bedroom, telling him to take a shower and relax while you finish making dinner!
He smiles to himself as he enters the room, and his smile only grows even brighter when he sees that you’ve laid out some clothes for him.

After finishing his shower, he returned to the kitchen to see you making the final preparations for dinner. That smile from before finds its way onto his face again. It smells just like how his mother would make it when he was younger.
And it tastes all the same as well! He feels overwhelmed with good emotions and memories of his childhood. Expect him to compliment you greatly on your cooking.
After dinner he pulls you toward the couch and forces you to cuddle with him. To him, the perfect way to relieve the built up stress he had accumulates throughout the week was to hold you close to him for hours.
His face nuzzles into your neck, planting small kisses there as he sighs contently.
A million “thank you’s” escape his lips that night and each one is accompanied by a loving kiss. Really, he cannot thank you enough. You managed to make his terrible week amazing by your actions.
