Stark. And not Tony, either.
Recent commercial shoot at Bash! Event Boutique in San Diego - first time I've incorporated a model(s) to show a space's function dynamically. Won't be the last time!
Read past the title. If you're a photographer, you really need to know your business. Same for interior designers, architects, and other service sectors. If you're just *generic,* you're going by the wayside.

Kettner Exchange (at Kettner & Grape) is looking great. Grabbed a quick drive-by shot of the ribs of what will eventually be a big patio area. From the renderings, it looks like local arch firm Bluemotif is using the space well. http://www.bluemotifarchitecture.com/portfolio/kettner-exchange/

Not a lot of prairie design out here (San Diego), but I do see the occasional exterior with Prairie details.
Angular wooden extension to a house in Paris by MIR architectes and Nicolas Hugoo

The "sanitary" bathroom style (white subway tile and porcelain) became popular in the 1920s.
Broadmoor residence, Seattle. Stuart Silk Architects.
Bummer - that laundromat (or "laundramat" as it's spelled on the building) near Ray's Liquor isn't going anywhere yet. :/
Some more info on Segal and the North Parker project.
Jonathan Segal's The North Parker is coming to 30th and Upas, and here's a rendering out of the San Diego Business Journal (account required). The project includes 4 retail suites totaling 6000 squ...
I've been watching this development go up with barely suppressed glee for a few months now. The Upas corner has been ugly as long as I've lived in North Park (10+ years). Actually, "ugly" is polite. It was <---> this close to derelict, but with tenants. I felt bad for the businesses within 150 feet who were trying to make a go of it with that eyesore filling their windows.
