Large scale (approx. 48″x 24″) mixed media piece on recycled hand-made paper. Experimenting with scale and relief. First image is a close up of the paper’s texture, the second is an in-progress shot, third is the final overall product, and the last is a close-up of the top section of the piece.

A flashback on some undergraduate oil paintings and an illustration done with technical drawing pens. I was obsessed with getting the oil paint to be as smooth as possible on panel using a palette knife.
