Actually the real villain of TADC is Kaufmo because if he hadn't knocked while Jax and Ribbit were having their beautiful transgender moment Jax wouldn't have freaked out and gone back to repression and then literally none of this would've happened. hi. I'm assuming that at least a decent amount of people who have seen the finale know that Jax being a trans woman is canon via being heavily implied. (I know some people don't think Jax being a trans woman is canon, so if you're one of those people, this post isn't for you.)

How people expect trans characters to be written, apparently. "Its so subtle!!" "Why wasnt it explicit??" It was literally shoved in your face. Jax never said they were cis either, yet that doesnt NEED to be said for it to be believed as fact. Only queer, especially trans, characters need to explicitely verbally state their gender identity or it doesnt count. Storytelling be damned. Presenting a trans chracacter who is not yet ready to be out, be damned.
