i have incredible difficulty interacting with people. it takes me a long time to open up to someone and a long time to talk to anyone directly. with that said. this post is about Star Wars the Old Republic. what I am asking is that here in 2023 what discipline of the Marauder/Sentinel is the best one to go with in terms of leveling and playing through the game. and by that i mean Tython/Korriban all the way through to Corellia and beyond. I am not someone who can leave missions unplayed when i leave an area or a planet so keep that in mind. I don’t like that they moved force stasis/choke to level 68 but i can live with it if a discipline gives enough to where it’s not necessary.

to anyone playing SWTOR. i haven’t subbed since March of this year. i found myself unhappy with some of the changes. especially being someone who played the Sentinel/Marauder class and enjoyed playing and leveling those classes, i saw how high the level requirements for things like force choke/stasis had gotten and that discouraged me from playing through any new characters. this is the longest i’ve gone without being subbed since i started playing in 2013. so, i would like to politely ask is it worth returning to? faster leveling would be something that could get me back into the game. if they aren’t willing to lower the requirements for those valuable interrupts that my squishy Sentinel/Marauders really rely on...even with a healer. i’ve never really been interested in raids or pvp because to be honest, i’m not confident in my skills and fear i’d probably not be welcomed back if i tried. don’t want to cause a group to fail a raid or lose a pvp because of my skills. if you’re still with me reading this far all I am really asking is to give me reasons to re-sub. i miss playing the game but i don’t want to return if it’s in the shape it was when i stopped in March.

i still play SWTOR. i keep getting random guild invites but i don’t think i’d ever accept. i am someone who suffers from anxiety and something that causes me a lot of it is interacting with people so i’m usually never saying a word in any chat. so i’d need a small guild that can accommodate, and be willing to understand i’m slow to talk to new people. i also can’t do long subscriptions. 60 day subs are as much as i can do and i wanted to play the new content but a lot of stuff in 7.0 is making me think twice about re-subbing for awhile. so that also plays a factor. if you play SWTOR and have a guild that might be willing ot accept me and maybe make the game not feel so lonely, tell me by responding to this, tell me your character names and what faction and what server and i’ll do my best to track you down in game and say hello. I myself play in the Satele Shan server.

you never really know how much you rely and use something until it’s taken away. that’s why nothing can be taken for granted. it can all be taken away in the blink of an eye

if you care more about what you’re going to get for Christmas than what you’re going to give for Christmas, you are part of the problem. we need less greed in this world.

the arrogance of humans thinking they can control nature. when the reality is nothing can control nature. humans have only been on Earth a short time. Earth was here before humans and it’ll be here afterwards and life will find a way to carry on just as it has each time something came along and tried to wipe it out. if there is a way for it to exist, life will find it. even if it is only tiny microbes it is still life.

Gyarados is the pokemon version of the phrase “ be careful who you pick on in school” be careful what pokemon you pick on because it might turn into a ferocious monster.

if a character is well written, what they have in their pants or what gender they identify with, it doesn’t matter to me. if a character isn’t written well i’m probably not going to like it. well written is all i want from a character in any kind of fiction.

the greatest sin Star Trek Discovery has made is turning Martok into a liar. he said the Klingons never attempted an attack on Earth and Starfleet Command. Discovery showed that they did. it’s enough to send someone to the fires of Gre’thor.

i won’t let political differences get in the way of friendships. politics ruins everything it touches, let’s not let friendships be another thing it ruins.

past experiences and traumatic events due to the results of a vaccine my mom got back in 2018 that lead to her developing an auto immune disease, it is what created me to distrust vaccines. but even though i have this distrust i am not against vaccines. i think if you want to get one you should do so. i won’t try and stop you. i just hope you can understand where i’m coming from in my own mistrust of them. but don’t let the fact that i don’t trust them stop you from getting one. in fact if you wanted to get one and you were for whatever reason denied it, i would have your back on that. medical freedom is important.

i don’t use this much anymore and quite honestly forgot i had it.

liberal or conservative. left or right. pub or dem. it makes no difference to me. just treat each other with respect. you don’t have to agree with each other in order to respect each other. politics ruins everything, don’t let it ruin your friendships.

always expect to be disappointed. that way when disappointment happens life will always live up to your expectations

a mental illness can be an explanation but it should not be used as an excuse to do evil.

I support the right to free speech and do not support censorship even those i don’t agree with. I also support the right to bear arms. You can’t take away peoples’ rights to defend themselves. If you disagree with my views, that is well within your right. I want you to keep that right. We don’t have to agree with each other but we should still support each other’s right to say it.

it may shock you to know this but i do not have a mobile device. i simply have no reason to have one.
