Hey! Sorry I know you've answered this but I wanted to double make sure before I did it and I thought sending you a private message would have been odd.

I write house next door and was wondering if I could put your fantastic hockey brothers in a chapter as background characters?

They wouldn't be love interests for the mc (unless you say I can use them then I will totally be adding them to part 3 because I'm obsessed) but just a quick scene with them on the ice.

I know nothing about hockey but I love them so much. Totally up to you though, please feel free to say no, that's totally cool. I also wanted to say I love your artwork.

Super specific, but I love the level of detail of that drawing you did where Puck is digging around in the fridge and you see the notes and pictures stuck on the fridge- specifically, I love how Puck wrote stick a note saying "SANS! YOU ARE COOL, SMART, STRONG, ETC. SAY IT BACK!" And below it, Stick posted a note saying "paps, you are cool, smart, strong, etc." but his includes way more nice words and is also just a visibly longer piece of paper. That is so sweet; he is so supportive! What does the rest of Stick's note say?

For those who dont know what our lovely anon is talking about, this ask comes from this comic, but for the sake of myself I’ll put the picture here:

So essentially, the paper continues to say nice things about Puck, which was NOT Puck’s intention. When he wrote the note to Stick, he meant “say it back” in a “TELL YOURSELF YOU ARE GREAT COOL STRONG SMART FOR SELF ESTEEM REASONS!!!” way and not a “TELL ME IM SO SUPER DUPER AWESOME!!” way. But Stick being Stick, he found a way around a confidence building exercise.

I will say that most of my posts have some sort of hidden detail in them that adds to the lore of the story, and that if you ever think you see something and are curious about it, send an ask! It makes me so so so super happy when people see these little details (like for example, the fanart featured on the right side of the door).

Question : so, this AU only focus about hockey? Is there a lore that explain about why is it like that?

yeah! so essentially hockeytale is an AU where Papyrus found some old hockey VHS tape recordings in the dump, and after watching them decided to learn hockey.

At first it was just him and Undyne who played, but overtime people would pick it up by watching them play. Ice sports in general have become big in the underground, with other monsters like Muffet doing ice skating and other ice sports.

Beyond that there isnt really much difference from canon Undertale in my au. Any differences there are that aren’t hockey related are just general UT headcanons i have, so if anyone ever has questions about that feel free to ask!
