Me and @joe-sparrow have been watching Boku no Hero Academia and it’s a really fun show and it’s really fun to think up of superpowers and characters that could be in it.

As is typical of a lot of media, there’s a lot of monstrous male characters, but not so many monstrous female characters. Even Tsu, whose power is that she’s essentially a frog, is still a quite cute girl.

So here we have Sherri White. Quirk: Shark. Occupation: Lifeguard. Not everyone in the BNHA world has to be a superhero.

Does this count as Mermay. Let’s have it count as Mermay.

i always hated that they used this miserable sentiment in an attempt to add whimsy to an otherwise perfunctory “confirm” button. a lot of people react poorly to ui phrasing that puts words into their mouth. anyway none of that applies in this case

my interest in tumblr kinda waned over the last few months/years entirely independent of the current cluster but this’ll probably finish the job for me. i’m not sure what they’re trying with the auto-flag system but it extremely smacks of someone wanting to say they’ve done something to address it, and clearly they or their higher-ups don’t care how accurate it is or isn’t.

and that’s taking it on its own terms and face value, saying nothing about the sanitization initiative itself. as a certified Horny it’s simplest for me to direct you to the nearest indignant rant and say “same”. you’re on a first-name basis with the drill
